Wow, I actually really liked The Event from last night. Just watched it now.

i'm on the fence whether or not to continue... need to find out what they are up to with the people on the plane and the dude in the cia and the 'brother' in the vacant bldg. so i'm in for next week at least.

Yeah. its getting interesting. But I think they kinda blew it by showing too much, but it's early.

Dexter: is great. I read the books afterward and noticed the directors changed a bit from the author. And I think it works better without possession like in the book.

Just finished season 1 of The League. Phenomenal.

Any of you fellow FFLers need to watch this.

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

Fantastic episode of HIMYM last night, I thought.

****ed right it was!

Ya know, I believe Marshall has at least two slaps left, could we be getting Slapsgiving III? This is the stuff I worry about as my students do their homework ;)

I thought it started a little slow in Season 1 but then it really found its niche a couple episodes through and then delivered with an awesome finale.

Season 2 has kept the momentum going.

I think it's definitely one of the most underrated shows on TV right now.

Same vibe I got (will start to catch up on season two immediately).

So many times I was saying to myself: yep, that's happened in our league. :o

Lone Star gets the first axe of the fall TV season. Meh. I was one of the 20% that watched the pilot and had no desire to see the second episode.

Didn't like this one as much as the first. Love the 'aliens' plot, not too keen on the 'man on the run' stuff.

Haven't watched the second episode of Lone Star yet, but I guess it couldn't have been much better than the first. ;) Good, one less thing I'll have to record.

Does it really need to be whited out as a spoiler if that's how the show started? :p

So, this show Prison Break? The main character is IN PRISON!

Re: TV 5: Cliffhangers and Intros!

it was more a stealing...then another stealing.. then controlled hard landing.

I don't know the physics of planes or anything, but did that strike anyone else as kind of impossible? I mean, the plane really didn't even break apart at all. And when it clipped that rock formation, shouldn't some damage have been done to the wing?

it had just taken off with the intent to fly to brazil.. it was fully fueled. should have blown to bits.

again, i don't know why i came back for episode 2, but i did.

I'm giving it one more episode to see what happens. Mainly cause I think the brunette that captured the main character's girlfriend is hot.

So The Event started with a plane crash? How original.

It was a little more involved than that. I like the show so far.

{sigh}

Suspension of reality if part of the fun.
