Its the 1972 story of a prison camp full of American hotties in the middle of the Philipines. Well two of them (including Pam Greer and some spicy blonde number) escape the prison...chained together...and seem to run into alot of inuendo as the make their way across the country.

Crap, saw that was on, and decided against it, hoping that Netflix would have it. It's on my radar now.

Who's to say it won't resonate with 15 year olds now the way it did then? They came out of nowhere once before so I suppose it's possible it could happen again, thereby rendering "nostalgia" a moot point.

I really wonder how much they will have to cut back the show, as I heard the main reason FX didn't want to keep it around was it was so expensive to make, I'm guessing most of this is Glenn Closes salary, based on the ratings it got. Guess I will have to wait until it comes out on dvd.

I just finished watching Life which I greatly enjoyed too bad it got cancelled. I'm think of moving onto Monk next though I may just tape them off sleuth.

The first two season are excellent there is serious tail off in quality in Season 3, in my opinion.

Interesting, because I thought season 3 was far better than season 2.

So, Mad Men starts up this Sunday at 10pm. Why Sundays at 10???? There's already Army Wives, Entourage, The Glades. I know I have 3 TiVos to make this not an issue, but seriously - 4 shows on at the same time?????

Interesting (to me) revelation from this week's Hung: One of the interesting dynamics in the show, to me, is Ray's and (somewhat less importantly) Jessica's attempts to relate to their kids, who are nothing at all like them. It was interesting to see that Ray apparently never really thought about the idea that he (at high school age) never would've been friends with them.

Also: "BANG BANG BANG, MOTHA ****A!"

To me the secondary stories, Patty's son, Ellen's sister play pretty much no part in the story and don't really wrap up any remaining story lines like the return of Frobeshier which I also didn't like but at least they wrapped up the storyline. Also the end of the season with what happened to Tom, I won't give it away for those that haven't seen it, is so stupid and unbelievable that it basically ruined the season.

Does anyone here watch Louie on FX? It is an odd show but weirdly funny! Plus Louis C.K. is hilarious! :D

Haven't seen any of the former and most of the latter. Yet I really want to watch X-Files all the way through as I lost touch in 1996 when I was in the Middle East and couldn't watch it regularly.
