I dont think that was the point of the scene, it is obvious what side Peter is on, it is whether his favorite female FBI agent is with him or she was setting him up the whole time.

That does explain what Carey was thinking and why he didnt seem to care. That said the people involved in that show are a might paranoid.

I laughed out loud a couple of times. I liked the exchange that went something like (paraphrasing):
Sean: You buried my Easter eggs under 5 feet of dirt and a tarp covered in broken glass.
Dad: That was the giveaway!!

So, um.... Beavis and Butthead are coming back...


Part of me is happy, but MTV sucks now... I really think that this is just gonna be a shadow of it's former glory... What you had 15 years ago was classic and original... I don't think they can catch lightning in a bottle the 2nd time around :mad: :mad: :mad:

Society has changed and become too PC... I hope Mike Judge knows what he is doing here and doesn't let MTV pull him from the original vision...

Society isn't really that much different than it was 15 years ago.

MTV is...part of what was great about the show was how they ripped the videos that were on EMpTyV but now they never show videos so unless B & B are ripping on Road Rules/Real Life Challenge or whatever it wont work.

Eh, MTV sucks now, but that doesn't mean they're going to pull back the reins on him. It's not like their standards are any HIGHER at this point. And MTV is owned by Viacom which has other channels that do show music videos so presumably they'll have the rights to them even if they're not often shown on MTV. I think people are just looking for reasons to worry that it won't be funny anymore.

Why do people have to look for reasons, most likely it just wont be no need to go looking for justification. If it is great, but what do you want to bet no one watches it after three weeks when the nostalgia wears off. 15 year olds today have no idea who those guys even were.

Exactly... B&B are just a different style of person than what you have today.... I don't really see B&B being into Social Media like kids today... I just can't see the characters using something like that, given what they were in the original... I just can't see the original characters being successfully acclimated into current society...

Now Judge is smart enough to use this to spoof society, but I think it'll be a tough sell... It's gonna be like Bart from the Simpsons... The only way for them to work is to basically make fun of current trends through the characters being oblivious to them...

Because of the differences, I just can't see this going somewhere... The result will be that the original gets tarnished because of the reboot...

Watching a movie tonight and i'm hoping you would approve...black mama, white mama.

Its the 1972 story of a prison camp full of American hotties in the middle of the Philipines. Well two of them (including Pam Greer and some spicy blonde number) escape the prison...chained together...and seem to run into alot of inuendo as the make their way across the country.
