TV 19 - Simpsons Did It

But why? Why would gamers want to know everything that is going to happen? Just pure fan service, no surprises?

If they really wanted to be true to the game, maybe every time the two leads get killed or eaten by zombies, they just go back and start at the beginning of the story again.

LOL. But I'm sure it's derivative of Rick & Morty.

BTW it took 7 episodes but there was finally a good one in S6, Full Meta Jackrick. The 6 episodes prior to that are among the worst 10 in the entire run of the show.

The later ones, which as a rule were way worse. As for "more beloved," by whom?
I thought I saw articles a couple years ago where it was pointed out that she wrote some of the better episodes of the series. I could be wrong. Ask The Office fans, I don't know, I didn't watch it.

Just looking at the first two seasons she’s credited for “Hot Girl”, “The Dundies”, “The Injury”, and “Take Your Daughter To Work Day”.

The only one I know is “The Dundies” but I’m also not a The Office expert. Or fan.

That's not the point. At all. Man, the skins here are thin.

I don't have a dog this fight, this is chewing gum entertainment and if you want to sit through the same story you already know so I can watch it fresh then great. I'm just saying they should consider killing Joel and Ellie every week. Just throw a d100 and axe him on a 00 and her on a 69. Odds are you can get through 20 or so episodes before one of the bites it, and it would really open up the narrative. Killing off his smart, black, quirky daughter midway through the pilot was brilliant as it subverted every trope.
Was not referring to you. Was mentioning one of the reasons why video game adaptations usually suck. Typically, TV/Movie writers and producers have such a low opinion on the people who create video games that they’ll go “well, I can take these characters/this world and write a better story!” And then they write a confusing, jumbled mess and wonder why
everyone hates it.

TLOU has made changes from the game but they’re small changes that enhance the story. For example, in the game the fungus releases spores that spread airborne and forces most people to wear gas masks at times. They changed it in the show so the characters wouldn’t be obscured behind gas masks in scenes.

I really enjoy the office but can’t rememer all the episodes she wrote. One thing I do remember though was her awesome reply to a misogynistic and xenophobic troll that used a .gif from the office in the tweet in which he was ranting at her.

“I wrote that episode.”

I mean, a simple look at her Wiki page shows she wrote them pretty consistently over the series entire run, but by all means keep making **** up.

I'll admit I was wrong, but my friend you are going to hemorrhage if you don't develop a sense of proportion. Not everything has to go to 11.

Watched the first three episodes of That 90’s Show, it’s good. I liked it. It’s obviously being carried by Red and Kitty a bit, but I think with a little time they can flesh out the kids’ characters some. The actress they got to play Leia, Eric and Donna’s daughter, was a good choice. She definitely feels like Eric’s daughter in that she’s got that awkward but snarky personality.

Wait, wut? The Foremans (Foremen???) are back on TV?

It’s on Netflix but yeah.

Eric and Donna were only in the first episode so far. Kelso and Jackie had a cameo and one of the kids is their son Jay (who is the Donna to Leia’s Eric). Fez seems to be a semi regular. Hyde is obviously not going to appear.

In fairness, the more I watch reruns of the original the more I realize Red and Kitty carried that one, too.

I'll probably give this one a shot once I'm done with Wednesday (only 2 episodes in).

Topher Grace definitely helped, there’s a reason the show went off the rails in Season 8 when he left.

I'm really liking The Last of Us. I never played either game and don't know a whole lot about the story, at least beyond the general idea of it.

"It's actually a disease, not supernatural undead" as a zombie cause isn't at all new, but this is really well done. So far.
