ABC reported that he hugged his mom for 17 seconds. They timed it? Seriously? The news was on at the gym and it was the top story on both the local and national news. :rolleyes:

do these people have any integrity at all? Why would I expect a guy to change his ways on a freaking dime... it totally goes against what we know about people and human nature

but Jen, at least you were at the gym doing something positive when you had to see that garbage. 17 seconds - hope my wife doesn't see that - now she'll expect me to hug her that long. :)

Hey I dont want Tiger to change...he is a rich celebrity let him screw what (some of those girls barely look human) and who he wants. I just don't want to hear how much he loves his family and how great a role model he is because of it. He doesn't, he isnt and he doesn't have to be.

The media is fellating him because he finally said SOMETHING to them. The dude never talks...that is why even though this was completely fraudulent and robotic it seemed sincere to them. This is way more emotion than he usually shows so IT MUST BE THE TRUTH!! Tiger trully is brilliant because no one else would get away with this scam.

As someone who comes from a family of addicts and liars I can honestly say I dont trust word one of what he said. It is the usual rhetoric you hear from people who have "fixed" their problem and in his case he planned out every word down to the last detail. Even if I believed sex addiction was real (and I dont) I wouldnt believe Tiger as far as I can throw him.

Once again he can do whatever he wants he broke no laws. This whole thing is just a big joke right down to Accenture allowing him to do this at their tournament a couple months after they cut ties with him because of all this.

Tiger's a louse... what's wrong in admitting that... there's all kinds of people out there who are scumbags... its not an affliction.... its a default personality of a depraved and low moral individual. Lets face it, there a lot of guys like Tiger except they usually don't inhabit an upper crust classy world* and dominate their sport.

*Well, they do, but usually we don't see that world sprawled out to us on the TV set like we see in golf. Heck, there's plenty of depraved individuals in that world.

Just a general comment not pointed at anyone in particlar....Let's not fool ourselves. We're all louses/sinners. What Tiger did wasn't any worse than any sin you or I committed today, yesterday or will commit tomorrow. In God's eyes, all sin is equally wrong, whether it's cheating on your spouse (physically or metally) or spreading rumors about someone, swearing or whatever else. Sin is sin. No matter how hard we try we can't avoid it; it's our nature. We are to minimize it, try to turn away from it, but we can never get 100% away from it. That's why we need to repent and need a Savior from our sins.

I agree. In fact I was having a very similar conversation with God while we were doing shots at Hooters last weekend.
