Vermont should have "destroyed" Lowell? That's rich. With the exception of Madore, who no one can argue is having a great season, your defense is complete garbage. They're slow, they make bad decisions with the puck and the speed of Lowell's forwards exposed them. The only "should have" in that game is that Lowell "should have" had another pair of goals if Madore hadn't bailed out the D.

I'd rather have one aspect of my team be garbage than ALL of my team be garbage. Lowell is an excuse for a team. Not only that, but you're honestly an excuse for a person. UML is an exact reflection of the city they represent. Trash.

and the "Speed" of lowell's forwards? Don't make me laugh. Compared to every other team, they're speed is nothing to gloat about. Connor Brickley could skate circles around those kids

Not to make you feel worse (actually yeah, kinda my point), but lowell is the only team to let in 30 goals already this year in conference. No other hockey east team has even let in 20 goals, not to mention 30. And you're bashing Vermont's Defense? Laughable.

the difference being no one thought lowell would be good this year, or indeed claimed that. and people, specifically vermont fans, thought vermont would be.

they have proven you to be quite, umm, wrong, to this point in the season.

Good God I hope you didn't actually attend UVM. Your inability to form a coherent sentence would have me thinking less of Vermont. You know, besides THEIR laughably mediocre hockey team.

BC was all over them the last 10 minutes and had a bunch of quality shots but couldn't get the equalizer. Hayes was immense and yes they were quality shots. that being said, i am trying to figure out how the UVM team i just watched for 2 games had yet to win until last night, THAT i don't understand. great crowd, great atmosphere and 2 great games, i thoroughly enjoyed my first trek up to the gutt

You and your *****wipe UML cohorts really crack me up! Don't know why you seem to take such an interest in UVM hockey. I could really care less what UML's doing.

People thought we were going to be good this year? Is that why we were picked 5th, 6th, or 7th (don't recall which) in the pre-season HE coach's poll? Sure, a lot of fans, myself included, thought we had a shot to make our 3rd straight NCAA tournament--is that a crime? Although we haven't gotten off to a good start this year, I think we still can still do it! If we can put some wins together and get on a roll, we can be right there at the end of the season. Will it happen? I don't know. Is it possible? Absolutely! Sorry I have some confidence in my team--perhaps some day you'll have some in yours.

Finally, I always get a chuckle how much it seems to ruffle feathers when we mention we've been to 2 straight tourneys including a final four (not to mention another FF in the 90's). Does it make us an elite program? No. Is it an indication that we might be heading in that direction? Arguably, yes. It's like saying BC can't mention their national championship because they're not ranked #1 right now.

UVM fans keep telling us that UML has a horrible team. So why haven't they been able to beat UML for 2 years and counting?

right to spout out the "We aren't suppose to be good" line to try to deflect all of the same crap you have been spewing for the
last few years. Its like trying to act Black in NYC then pretending to be white going thru the south. doesnt work and you just look
like a fool.

win all against us you want as long as we continue to as we have done EVERY YEAR SINCE JOINING HOCKEY EAST to have our

At least I am not a creepy old fart that doesnt have a life besides wishing they had a team as good as UVM they could root for. That could be the only reason for you two idiots to hang out on our thread so much. And apparently you know very little about hockey as you really never have anything to say except how much UVM sucks.

National Championships in hockey since joining Division 1: Vermont 0 Lowell 0. Neither team really has anything to brag about if you want to be honest.
