Wow, this UML group is the most insecure fanbase I have ever seen in any sport. Hopefully they will win something soon so they can chillout and enjoy life a bit. At one point their drivel was entertaining, but now I am just flat out embarrassed for them.

actually i hate umass so i would never say they were good. fortunately, umass has as many wins as vermont has this season (zero!), which backs up

Good game. BC is good. All goals scored by young guns. This UVM team will be better as the year goes on. York acknowledged as much in Friday's postgame. Good weekend of hockey at the Gutt.

finally a win! I didn't see the game, but were both of Hayes' goals to cut the lead from 4-1 to 4-3 quality shots or did it look like a "oh my god we need to survive, bend but dont break" type of thing? (anyone who saw the game in person, feel free to answer this

Go back to your thread full of zero expectations. I think UVM just beat a team that spanked you a little while ago? Didn't you lose 5-2? You earned an incredible (note sarcasm) win against UVM on stupid turnovers that occur with all teams early in the season (I believe UVM also hit 4 posts in that game). Should have destroyed lowell, but you're going to back your boys anyway. I wont do any more smack talking, because UVM actually showed they can beat a quality opponent. Can Lowell? This year? Any year?
Go back to your thread full of zero expectations. I think UVM just beat a team that spanked you a little while ago? Didn't you lose 5-2? Stellar comeback. I'm just gonna enjoy a nice victory over the national champions...does it have any real relevance? No, but it's just fun to push your buttons. Mostly because your team never has and never will have any success.

So I guess UML measures slighty below Vermont as its played 2 more games and has the same number of points
The guys from BC seem to think everyone wishes they were like them because of thier teams success, I cant figure out
why you seem to think anyone cares what you say as nobody wants to be one of you guys.

That was a couple of great games, too bad the Cats could not bury any of the great second and third period chances on Friday and squeeze that extra point or two out. They had a TON of great chances and I thought they actually outchanced BC on Friday by a good margin despite the PP advantage that BC had
The VT forwards are finally starting to look dangerous and generate some chemistry - but that is mostly among the Sophs and Frosh. Good to see Roos back, that kid continues to impress me. However, disappointing to see so little scoring contribution from Burrows, Marshall, and Downing. Among the seniors Wahs has stepped it up big but nobody else has. Hopefully Downing and Burrows get something going soon.
Our D still made a bunch of bad plays both nights though. Thank goodness Madore bailed them out regularly. Madore has been very solid in the home games - much better than early last year. I can't remember one BAD goal really. He gets an A thus far. The forwards get a B- and the defense gets a D for too many turnovers and breakdowns and not much offensive contributions.
Hopefully this hard fought victory shows them how to finish games and get the W's they have been finding ways to lose previously (every home game has been a good one).
