Re: The Ultimate CCHA Championship: Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan
Seems obvious but all fanbases, in particular large ones, are going to have some bad apples, making all the good fans look bad. This is obviously more precedent in Football fueled by alcohol. I never seek out opposing fans to talk trash but will play defense against an attack if I feel it's warranted. I enjoy this board and its civility. Of course I haven't spent much time in Gopher threads, they seem to have a "rep" with opposing WCHA fans
Is umichhockeyrulz still around?
One last note on fans, things changed alot down here after the Texas game in 2005. People knew some change was needed and since then I don't think visiting fans have ever been treated so well. I like to peruse visiting teams msg boards after the game so see their reviews on visiting, and its generally positive, but there's always going to be a drunk idiot somewhere.
Anyway, can't wait for tomorrow for day 1 of the CCHA swansong.
