PC Hockey is reborn! Everything else is gravy. Let's go beat up BC!
You guys played an awesome series. Congrats. Good luck along the way and pleeeeease beat BC! That would be the icing on the cake!

Re: The rebirth of Providence College Hockey

Congrats gentlemen. Well deserved. It has been a long time coming, but I am glad you are back in Boston!

Good luck on Friday. Gotta love the classic PC vs. BC rivalry!

Re: The rebirth of Providence College Hockey

I watched Nate Leaman build the Union program when I was living in Upstate N.Y. It is rather nice to see him do the same thing at Providence. Go Friars!

Re: The rebirth of Providence College Hockey

Congrats to all the PC fans and best of luck next round.

Re: The rebirth of Providence College Hockey

Great win, great series. When they disallowed the second goal because they put it in with high stick, I thought oh here go, the momentum is shifting to them. But the team did a great job of really stifling Lowell all game.

Great quote by Mike Logan at the end of the broadcast "Friar fans you have a team again!".

I was really impressed with the poise PC showed today. Lowell came out from the opening face off and took the play to the Friars until PC scored that goal at the seven minute mark of the first. From there, they skated with the Hawks giving no ground. When UML turned up the pressure in the last five minutes, PC was not giving up. I thought the defense played superbly.

Lets see, the last time I saw PC in the shrine in Boston was 2001. Fregoe, Rask and DiSalvatore were around in those days. It has been a long, long time. I do hope this marks the return to regular TD Garden trips in mid-March.

Oh, and I even heard that PC Observer was at the game today.
