What those kids do on their own time is none of the schools business. Does the principal follow the teachers around after school to see what they're doing.

So patterns aren't logical then? The opponent has nothing to do with it. It's a trend, and the trend the last six games is zilch from the defense and goaltender.

Save percentage in February is .857. Record is 3-4-0.

Save percentage for the season is now .895, and career save percentage is .895. Why anybody should have faith in that at this point is what's illogical.

Hopefully Sirman's performance tonight has stopped the panic on this thread, Maine will only lose home ice if they are swept next weekend and Lowell wins both games at Vermont. The season is not over!

Maine has clinched 5th place and needs 1 point this coming weekend to finish in 4th with home ice.:) Sirman for President!:D

I think Maine might already have locked up home ice. If there is a wierd 3 or 4 way tie involving BU I'm not sure what would happen though.

Check the Hockey East thread. :p Maine can still finish 5th, but it would take a perfect storm.

You're right. I knew that Lowell had tied, but the standings hadn't added their point yet. I think you should print the tickets anyway because BU would need 4 of 6 points even if both those sweeps happened.

Well I'm on vacation in cool FLA after escaping NH and the downed trees and power outages on Friday morning. Caribbean awaits later this week. BUT I'm relieved with tonights win. Who were all those people killin Tim for playing Sirman at BU????? We needed that tonight!

Now I can relax because believe me I won't be checking scores next weekend!:)

I was killing sirman at bu. He was a totally different goalie starting as opposed to coming in in the middle of a blowout. Tim made the right move tonight the way darlings been going. Shawn made the saves he had to and the overall d was much much better than the last time i saw them.

Nyquist ia better than anyone in the hiatory of merrimack hockey. That paid off tonight.

just an observation..

In the '07-'08 season, the highest scorer on Maine was Wes Clark with 21 pts..

Maine now has 7 players with at least 21 points and the season isn't over.

:p , no one knew he had it in him except Timmay:D . Good to see him do well, most of us have been bit chin about only having one decent goalie so its good to see another guy step up. First road win for a non #1 goalie at Maine since Matty Lundin??. The D is still scary though.
