A woman named Nimarata Randhawa, born to immigrant parents, and who grew up in South Carolina, has never experienced or witnessed institutional racism? That would be a miracle.

She's a bad liar and a worse politician. But she pushed for SC to stop flying the traitor flag at the state capital, so that makes her a "moderate". Nevermind that it was performative, and she has since tried to straddle the "heritage not hate" fence.

Same. I use -ish to make an approximation. "I'll be there in twenty minutes, ish." "Pick you up at 8. Ish." Never heard it substituted as ick ever.
 
Yeah I might say, "eight-ish" as well but the usage in question is not connected to anything else:

"Look at that huge pile of horses**t!"
"Oh, ish!"

After she made her Civil War gaff...Jamie Harrison destroyed her about how out of touch she was and specifically mentioned the Confederate Flag deal and how they all applauded her for doing it but knew it was fraudulent and that she was incompetent on the issue anyways. I read the thread like 5 times it was just beautiful.

Nimrata is the Tim Scott of Herman Cain's.

I'm here to tell you I've grown up / gone to school / had sex / worked with hundreds of Jews but never heard an "ish" in the wild, but, now you mention it, yeah I do remember stuff like this from Vaudeville acts that survived into movies.

My Mom sang this song to me as a child. She was born just 13 years after it was recorded and is still with us.
