Every politically powerful family has all sorts of wild stories (Kennedys anyone?) but now mix in that these were an actual modern day Clampetts, with fewer neurons than syphilis bacilli. What if you crossed Caligula with Jackas-s?

The Dumps are probably the only comparable perfect storm of vileness, idiocy, and narcissism.
 
Watched some highlights of the hearing the other day that Hunter showed up to...my lord the GOP can't even do performative theater well anymore. Nancy Mace was hilarious and not in a good way. She is really leaning into the "stop silencing me cause I am a woman!!" shtick. I remember when liberals thought she was one of the sane ones...
 
Mace is gonna need to wear more low-cut tops if she wants attention from GQP leaders. That's not sexist, these are the standards and expectations for women that they want to set, right?
 
Trump appointed judge in Floriduh says ban on guns in post offices is unconstitutional. Which will lead to ban on guns in any federal buildings are unconstitutional.

MAGA Karen is threatening to call for vacating the Chair of MAGA Mike if he keeps the deal he made with Schumer to avoid a shutdown.

Freedom Caucus is all but calling Mike a Democrat...

Of all people Dan Crenshaw is the voice of reason calling out these clowns.

Now we'll see if MAGA Mike will do what McCarthy was too-clever-by-half to do, and that's recognize that the power of these "freedom" caucus dipshits can be completely neutralized if he leads in a bipartisan way and finds enough moderate dems to offset. You know, like an actual leader would. Like Pelosi did a number of times between 2020 and 2022 with moderate republicans and the progressive caucus.

Or he'll just make the same idiot mistakes and we can have ourselves a shutdown while we - again - find a new Speaker.

If he works with the Dems, we'll have a new Speaker anyway. Dems aren''t gonna save his azz.
