Hello fans of ECAC Hockey-

I just wanted to quickly touch base with you in regards to the Goals For Good project. In short, it's a competitive goal-a-thon between every team in the ECAC, and every team has partnered with a charity in close relation to their team, school, and or community. We're currently looking for more prizes, but as of now, there is $1,000 on the line going to the local food cupboard of the team that raises the most money. Please check out www.goalsforgood.org to learn more and support your team and their charity by way of their goals and wins.

The 2011-2012 ECAC Posters Pool - Week four results.

This week was the hottest contest of the year with a nine way tie for first place, 9 out of 13 correct. According to Hab for most of the leaders it was a Wimpout result.

Special Kudo's for Trillium for getting the tie between Union and SLU correct and for DC to get the tie between Brown and Quinnipiac correct.

Trillium had the top percentage score with 8/11 for a 73% success rate, but missed out on the Tuesday games.

In the yearly batting average race, Slewfoot is leading with 68.9%, Hockey Teach second at 67.9%. Trillium has a 68.8% score, but is not yet counting enough participation points, 75% minimum, to make it to the official list.

Going against the odds this week. No Wimping this week. :D A lot of though choices to make.

Friday, November 11:
Dartmouth at Cornell ......Can the Big Red overcome missing two key D and two Key F's.
.........................................Darty wants to erase last years Final from their memory
.........................................Tempting to go with Darty, BUT
.........................................Big Red have not lost at home for a loooong time, SO
.........................................sticking with Big Red over Big Green.

Harvard at Colgate .........Even with Stone and players missing, going with the Crimson on the road.
Princeton at SLU.............Very tough pick to make, but gotta go with the undefeated Tigers.
Quinnipiac at Clarkson......Same deal as previous match, going with the undefeated Bobcats.
Rensselaer at Brown .......Only Brown league win last year was against RPI, so going with that.
Union at Yale.................Can Union make it a three game unbeaten streak and two league wins
.........................................Yes, record setting will continue for the Dutchwomen.

Saturday, November 12:
Dartmouth at Colgate.......Easy pick here, Darty all the way
Harvard at Cornell ...........With both teams missing key cogs and coaches, Big Red will prevail.
Princeton at Clarkson .......Princeton will fall from the Unbeaten ranks in this game
Quinnipiac at SLU.............Giving the Bobcats the opportunity to take sole possesion of first place.
Rensselaer at Yale............Who will get the monkey of their back. Going with the Engineers.
Union at Brown ................Union finally falls back to reality, as Brown wins two in a row for the first time in ages.

Other than Cornell and Harvard, what other ECAC teams will be missing players???

There is at least two others I'm aware off, from the nations ranked 5th through 12th. They are playing a tournament in Fussen, Germany.
