The camera went to Schleck catching/passing Sanchez, and then all of a sudden they go back and Rodriguez is way up the road with Nibali off the back.
Oops.
It looked like Kreuziger was setting a mean tempo up those final two climbs for Nibali.

I went hog wild on the TT guys for today.
Picked up Cancellara, Millar, Zabriskie, and Larsson.
With Cancellara/Zabriskie, I hoped they would finish up high enough in the stage result to offset some of the GC points from Rodriguez and Tommy D.
We'll see. So far Hoste is the only "surprise" slotting into 2nd right now behind Cancellara. Larsson hasn't started yet.

Wow, where did Menchov come from??
EDIT: Nevermind, wow, where did Velits come from??
He smokes them all and takes over the leaderboard. Very impressive Vuelta from Velits...that kid is the real deal!
Rodriguez is losing huge chunks of time.
Mosquera with a good TT (just off of Nibali's time). He will pass Rodriguez in GC as well...Rodriguez is losing minutes and minutes.
And, it's over. The red jersey didn't give him wings. He lost over 6min to Velits! Yowzers. He drops from first in GC all the way to 5th!
Nibali takes over the red jersey again, followed by Mosquera, Velits, and Schleck.

Cervelo is down to just four riders in the Vuelta. Sastre and Tondo won't have much support.

Anyone know how to check the overall results for a single stage? My fantasy team did really well, but they didn't exactly finish in the places I was expecting.
You guys in the top ten overall look like you could win a cycling jersey. Pretty cool.

I haven't found the stage overall results. You had a nice stage today! Who would have thought that Gilbert would be so high up there?
I lucked out with Hushovd...I had to switch Farrar for Hushovd because I wanted Millar & Zabriskie on the team (max 2 riders per team rule). So then today I was going to waste a transfer switching Hushovd for Farrar or Cav. But then Hushovd didn't start today, so I got a free transfer out of the deal.
I haven't found the stage overall results. You had a nice stage today! Who would have thought that Gilbert would be so high up there?

Cav gets his 3rd win of the Vuelta over Haedo and Cardoso.
Also, another surprise, surprise (but not so much).

I am wondering today if anybody in 4-9 Joaquin Rodriguez, Frank Schleck, Xavier Tondo, Nicholas Roche,Thomas Danielson or Carlos Sastre, who are about 2 -2 1/2 minutes off the podium go for third and if any of them go will Nibali try to go with them or will he just follow Mosquera's wheel. Schleck, Rodriquez and Sastre have really been the only ones of the group who have attacked so far.
