Cav sat up at the end, allowing Fernandez to come around him too.
I hate this about Cav. I don't know why he has that attitude but it really grates on me.
The player with the most accumulated points after the final stage on Sunday 25 July will be declared the winner, and they will receive the first prize of a Giant Defy 3.5 bike from CycleSurgery. In the event of a tie the total final scores of the players' final teams will be compared. The next ten players in the overall rankings will receive an Endura CycleSurgery jersey.
Titleist is back in the lead for the Fantasy League! Bringing home the hardware for the USCHO League! Dude, you could win yourself a new bike!
Of course, it also says that you would have to pay to have it shipped from the UK, but that's well worth it.
Well there are a number of problems there, 1) I'm sure that I/my team will choke somewhere along the line. 2) Today's stage was lucky, period. I never really thought that Fernandez, Seb. Chava, AND Weyland would end up in the top 6 (though according to the page it wasn't Weyland or at least I'm not currently getting points for it being him (I suspect that because lavuelta initially said it was Tosatto there will be an adjustment)). 3) And most problematic, I haven't ridden a bike in about 12 years, and that was simply from one end of a dorm hall to the other. But if someone wanted to give me a bike, I probably could use it!
What would make me feel more confident about my chances was finding a way to swap DeGregorio for Tondo (6.7 vs. 7.1) I need to make that happen! On the plus side, my team's value is UP to 159 and change.
I shuffle my roster to get Cav, all the while knowing I should take Farrar because of decency. I take Cav and lose to the rider I like. Brilliant!
I noticed that on Weylandt as well (he's on my team too). All the sites I've seen show Tossato in 4th and Weylandt in 191st (over 4min back). Not sure if that is right or not.
I've been trying to swap Moncoutie for Anton and one of my DS riders for Tondo, but the points haven't worked out as of yet...
The future home of my new bike shop:
Lampre with a phenomenal leadout see Petacchi win ahead of Cav, Haedo, Weylandt, and Farrar!
