Not only that, but he pretty much single handedly destroyed a certain Gopher goalie's career, at least at the college level. Dude's (still) money on the penalty shot.

As for Johnny Gaudreu, it's hard, HARD I say, to put aside the vile jersey that he wears at other times, but if i could do it with Phillip, I can do it with anyone. Hope he scores 10 against Sweden.

The dude on First Take called it the "World Hockey Championships," but at least they showed some highlights and mentioned it. Baby steps.

Hey, I don't like the other jersey Gostisbehere wears, and I even found it poetic justice that he gets a suspension when his other team gets away with bloody murder in the ECAC. Still, they wear the USA now, and they haven't made any disparaging remarks (unlike Emerson Etem), so we might as well root for them.

I'm ready to write off the next generation of Canadian hockey players.

Won't be long until Canada starts losing in the Olympics & World Championships.

Given the inevitable truth of this, Canada really should start investing all their loonies towards their only remaining thing of note, merchandise concerning being America's Hat.

I think we just found out why the NHL is still on Strike. They didn't want the world to know how much they suck in hockey.

Gaudreau plays for BC, not Minnesota. Easy to get the maroon and gold mixed up!!! ;)

Ya hear about the 4 Canadien World Junior players who walked into a bar? They went to watch the Gold Medal game. BOOM!!

As for Gaudreau...what a player. He made it look so easy. I'm a little scared of what he's going to do at BC in the second half.

As for Grimaldi...uneven performance. He made some very nice plays, especially setting up McCabe's second goal. However, he made a few really stupid plays as well...trying to get too cute. He's trying to do too much. Luckily, Canada did not make him pay.

Well done Team USA!!!

Not only did you make it to the Gold Medal game, but you also handily defeated Team Canada when it really counted. Already outperformed my expectations. Go get the Gold!

Maybe they should call him Johnny Goldreau:D
