Fredonia finishes off the scoring with a nice cross ice pass finished off with a one timer by Sudbrink for his second of the night. 6-1 is the final for Fredonia over Potsdam.

No one scores in OT. Me thinks Geneseo was looking ahead to tomorrow.

That might be true in part, but Cortland is a very solid team. The have some speed and make very few mistakes. Geneseo took a bad penalty late in the game and paid for it, and then Cortland played "keep away" through much of the overtime. Geneseo had more high quality chances by a good margin, but couldn't put the puck in the net. Part of that was really solid goal tending from the Cortland netminder.

Brockport has a student radio group. Maybe because the break has started?

I am guessing because of the Football Game tomorrow they didn't have the play by play guys tonight, it was the reason there was no play by play last week in the Plattsburgh game at least. My son goes to Brockport and works in sports information and he said last week they had a number of games they did and also had a couple of guys out sick.

Good video feed and lighting. I guess this year's Oswego team is all defense.... Go Lakers

Yup one goal games like I said b4 get used to theme played a better game and special teams was the difference ,as it usually will be in close games...

Potsdam led Buffalo State, 1-0, after one. Nick Alfiere scored on a 5x3 PP at 15:30. He placed it in the near upper corner from the top of the face off circle.

Anthony Morin tied it up for Buffalo State at 6:17 of the second. He was allowed to skate into the zone unmolested giving him an easy shot.

Buffalo State takes a 2-1 lead at 15:29 of the second. Potsdam had trouble creating the puck, and eventually Joel Frazee shoveled it in from the slot.

Scores after two periods:

Buffalo State - 2, Potsdam - 1

Cortland - 2, Brockport - 1

Fredonia - 2, Plattsburgh - 1

Geneseo - 6, Oswego - 0; and this is still in the second!

Buffalo State increases their lead to 5-1 at 13:30 as Frazee gets the hat trick. This was his prettiest goal, racing down the left side, past the defense to go in alone and easily beat the goalie.
