oz takes it 7-3 over Bport, could have been way bigger but Bport goalie did some headstands....Genny goes down and Oz in the top spot in the YAC......Bring your earmuffs for tomorrow night at The newly renovated Ira should be a barn burner....Go Lakers!!!
Finals:
Cortland - 2, Geneseo - 0 (this makes tomorrow's showdown even larger; Geneseo led the shots 41-22)
Oswego - 7, Brockport - 3 (Lakers offense really clicking lately)
Potsdam - 6, Fredonia - 2
Plattsburgh - 4, Buffalo State - 3
Morrisville - 1, Canton - 1 (OT)
My first boss was named Ira - a wonderful man…very welcoming….THIS Ira, not so much. It took an intervention by the SUNYAC to allow WTOP10 to broadcast what was an instant classic some years ago… “no room”, they said… “no internet”, they said. Little did they know the kids did a site survey the week before and a friendly custodian showed them where they could set up and confirmed the internet connection was live and hot…. Should be a great game.I speak on behalf of all Laker fans who wanted to be at this game in Geneseo tonight. Most of us and it is a large group will not be there. No not because of Covid, because Geneseo refuses to sell tickets online or on the phone. Last week we were told tickets will be available at 5:30 at the Ira Wilson rink. Yesterday we find out the general admission tickets will be sold at 9:00 to 12:00 Saturday at Geneseo. With any remaining tickets to be sold at 5:30. It is a long drive in the winter to show up and find out you cannot buy tickets. At Oswego you can purchase tickets a month before the game online and you will not be waiting in line. SUNY Plattsburgh also went online several years ago and we have no problem there. C’mon Geneseo let’s come up to 2022 and quit limiting tickets

it’s almost like they want their own fans at the game and not the other teams…. But I still agree with your point, time to move to the 21st century in the ticket department.
We understand the capacity situation, but to be able to have an online setup is not rocket science. At Plattsburgh they sell tickets online at 9:00 on the Monday morning of the upcoming weekend. You easily set up an account then clock on at 9 am. You are given a series of available seats , they have to limit also. We have used this for several years now.
Tgere we’re a minimum of a hundred people who wanted to see this game not on the stream
Not to mention Geneseo charges for their stream, while Oswegos stream is free and better than most D1 teams
