Potsdam-Brockport end in a 2-2 tie. Apparently there is no shootout in the SUNYAC. I did not know that.

Another big night for Geneseo's FY Peter Morgan, with 1 goal 3 assists. He's the real deal, no doubt about it. First Hatty for FY Garozzo. Pretty solid game for the Knights after almost two weeks off.

Hmm, I thought 5 minute 3x3, then shootout per NCAA, but I guess I haven't been paying attention. Can't find anything on the website.

All NCAA hockey went 3x3 5-minutes OT this year.

Shootout is not an NCAA rule. It's optional for the conferences to decide. And if it's used, it doesn't count towards your NCAA record nor towards the PWR.

After first scores:
Geneseo - 5, Potsdam - 0 (this got ugly fast)
Plattsburgh - 4, Brockport - 1 (as did this one)
Oswego - 1, Fredonia - 0 (30 seconds in)
Buffalo State - 0, Morrisville - 0 (live stats froze early in the game)

I brought up the stream. It's still a tie in Morrisville, but 1-1 instead of 0-0, after the first period.

After second scores:
Geneseo - 7, Potsdam - 1 (I think this game is in the bag. Just a hunch...)
Plattsburgh - 4, Brockport - 2
Oswego - 3, Fredonia - 1 (Fredonia still on a major PP to start the third)
Buffalo State - 1, Morrisville - 1

Final scores:
Geneseo - 12, Potsdam - 2 (Elia and Bosio with hat tricks)
Oswego - 3, Fredonia - 2 (Oswego at Geneseo next Saturday could ultimately decide first place)
Plattsburgh - 4, Brockport - 3
Morrisville - 3, Buffalo State - 2 (OT)

Geneseo still has Brockport and Cortland away...

The Geneseo at Oswego game will be the first with a capacity crowd at the renovated Ira this season. Looking forward to it!

Great. It's about time they finished it.

It was finished for winter break, but the crowds at those games were of course pretty small. Morrisville was supposed to be the first game with students on campus and the Ira at full capacity, but that game had to be rescheduled. The Oswego game will also be Alumni Night.
