Re: SCSU 2009-2010 Season Thread

It is crunch time. The team can not afford to have their goalies let in soft goals. Dunn has played bad over the last two games and the team can't have that. If Dunn plays bad Friday and Lee plays well on saturday I would play Lee Friday at Wisconsin. If Lee then goes out and sieves out I never said Dunn can't play saturday. However, if Lee plays good I would then play him again. If Dunn plays well this friday then play him Friday at Wisconsin. I am looking ahead on a what if basis.......

So who would you go with for the UND series, since that's next in line after UAA?! ;) :D

Re: SCSU 2009-2010 Season Thread

How about Rioux getting a start in goal? He got one at wing didn't he? He could do like a Cesar Tovar thing

Re: SCSU 2009-2010 Season Thread

Student tickets for the UND series can be picked up this coming Monday, February 8th. http://www.stcloudstate.edu/athleti...tory.asp?pubID=36&issueID=25859&storyID=30900

Any student out there willing to grab an extra one for me each night? I still look like a student and have access to valid student IDs. That sure would beat the pants off of paying 30 bucks per night. How about you STB?

I could help potentially help you with this...Let me do some checking.

Checking complete. I will pick-up an extra ticket for each game for you. My buddy has a new girl and will not be using his ticket. We can figure-out schematics later...

You sir, are my new favorite USCHO poster and have just earned yourself a drink or two at a pre or post game location of your choosing.

What games do you have to go to?

What games do you have to go to?

Some lovely men's and women's basketball games.

What pep band?

The Husky Sports Band. No, we don't play at the hockey games, you can blame Athletics for that one, apparently they want to create a more "professional" atmosphere at the games with prerecorded music rather than have a "collegiate" atmosphere and have a pep band there. We do go to the Final Five if the team makes it that far, so odds are, you'll see us in St. Paul.

I have nothing against a sports band, but long time fans like myself for the most part don't want a band. When it comes to NCAA regionals and final five they want you there because they won't play the piped in music for the team like they do at home games.

When I was a student the sports band use to get pelted with stuff all the time by other students and told to shut up. The school has it's own tradition and it's ok if it is different than other schools. I for one don't want SCSU to be like everybody else and I like the fact they do things differently.
