2 reasons why NOT to play the rouser after a goal:
1) It sucks
2) No one spells H-U-S-K-I-E-S, they spell 2 other words that begins with F and Y

It's like I've been saying all along, you have to bench Dunn. It was totally obvious Lee was playing better.

For the past month yes, for the couple months before that Dunn was better. Its not totally clear yet, and a lot may hinge on tonight. We've got to step up, all of them. I'm sure we remember what happened the last time we had a furious comeback to force a 4-4 tie.

The bottom line is at this point there is no room for them. When I was a student the student sections was 2,000 seats, what is it now? Maybe 1,500? When the renovation happens and all the students are put behind the net I could see letting the band come back. Until then it shouldn't happen.

Dunn is playing like Lee did early in the year. He doesn't look confident and he is letting in at least one softy a night. he gave up one last night that was jsut plain brutal and the 4th one never would have gone in if he would have played a better angle even though it was a nice shot. If Lee plays good tonight I would start him Friday against UND.

Oh the good old days.
We actually use to flip off the opposing team, not fans. That is unless it was a Gopher game and someone was giving us lip.

That whole Alaska plays better on Saturday nights doesn't apply since the game is 5:00 CT and that is like 10:00 am Alaska time right?!

Lee it is. He needs to get the nod both nights next weekend. He looked great tonight and is playing much better of the two right now. Huskies need to get at least 3 pts next weekend to stay in the hunt for the WCHA title. Looks like we'll have to be rodent fans against Denver next weekend. What a sick feeling.

Lee was fantastic and Lasch with a 6 point weekend.
And as far as cheering for the Gophers, you do what you have to if you want a title.
We've scored 52 goals in 12 games since the break, we had 46 in the 18 games before it.

That's me, but I'll be honest, I don't really read dahuskies. I'll have to start to though, especially as I'm getting much more into high school hockey and wanna talk recruits.
What's with the Rouser spelling Huskies talk? It ends with spelling SCSU. Personally, I prefer the Hymn. We walked out of the Dome a few years back plastered, chanting the Hymn, then Sieving people wearing U of MN stuff.
THIS weekend. Neither's shown to be any better than the other. You guys wanna flip so Lee starts Friday, fine. And if Lee plays an amazing game some Friday, you want him to get the whole weekend? Fine. But Dunn's done enough to earn a rotation, and Lee hasn't done enough, consistently, to earn the unquestion No. 1 spot. How quickly you guys forget how things looked just a couple weeks ago.
They didn't tie Friday because Dunn was atrocious, they tied because they looked flat as all getup the first two periods.
Fair enough, I'm ok with holding off until the renovations.

Got news for you...Gophers remaining schedule is @ DU, hosting CC, @ tUMD, hosting (or half hosting) UW... we're all Gopher fans for the rest of the regular season, and probably WCHA playoffs too, or at least the first round.
Price you pay when the Gophers have a really mediocre squad. But, I'm not petty enough to cheer against them when they could help us... hell I jumped up and down and cheered when Blake Wheeler scored that sick game-winner against UND in the Final Five 'cause it helped us PWR-wise.
A pep band would add to the atmosphere. They could still use a little of both but getting some variety with a pep band would be a good thing IMO.
Euro, since you're on here regularly and follow the Huskies closely do you read (or post) on DaHuskies.com? Since there isn't a "Euro" over there thought I would ask. There are threads about committed recruits and prospects with pretty good information (along with regular "uncensored" skeetermanisms as well.)

It was Dunn's 3rd straight bad start and 3 of the 4 goals (on just 19 shots) were bad and these points are too important.
Yes they were flat, but if Dunn makes saves on the first two goals like he should have, that's a tie game heading into the 3rd.
UAA's 4th goal was a good shot, but he was not in position, another on him.
Lee responded and make several good saves and has been flat out better overall the last month, he should get the UND series.
Also, Huskies is spelled in the rouser as it's played the 2nd time, not after it.
