Ralph Baer
Let's Go 'Tute!
Does anyone know when Jones started sponsoring our power play?
but not if Shirley's picture was there
I just saw, on eLynah of all places, that E. Stewart Jones was debarred. It happened two week ago. https://www.timesunion.com/news/arti...n-19581732.php I recall having read here that he was in trouble.
It was suggested also on eLynah that the penalty box could be named for him.
Do we still have Hacker & Murphy?
He got in trouble when his firm comingled or otherwise mishandled client escrow monies....which my lawyer friends tell me is one of the cardinal sins in the legal world and one of the quickest ways to getting disbarred. The investigation started about 5 years ago after a client heck bounced. He never stole any money, no clients ever lost any money -- it was bad accounting practices. A sad ending to a storied legal career for a guy who has been extremely benevolent in the community.
It's one of the quickest ways, and still took 5 years. How long do the slow ways last?
That is indeed the name of the new firm, post E. Stewart.... certainly possible that they stay on as a sponsor.....if Sachi can keep them signed up.

Frank Chiarelli passed over the weekend
https://ottawacitizen.com/ottawa-se...hiarelli-left-his-mark-with-a-life-well-lived
After reading his scoring stats, it boggles the mind to think that two players beat him out in points per game.
Who were those two players?
I would have loved to see him in action.
Rest in peace Frank.
Abbie Moore (3.37) and Paul Midghall (3.35).
Amazing life. I don't think I knew the connection to Peter Chiarelli before reading this, but I am sure it must have been mentioned on an RPI USCHO thread somewhere.
An amazing life indeed. My father had the dubious distinction of making something 68 saves against that Chiarelli-led squad....he talked about their skill quite often !! LOL
