That won't cut it Doc, this kid needs round the clock IV infusions of Flaxseed, Soy Protein, wheat gluten, leafy green, pomegranate muscle boosting shakes.:D

Just let Jenny have him here for a few weeks-the way she can cook-he will be a power forward in about 6 weeks. I have to watch myself all the time or else I would be an offensive lineman in the NFL.

What's going on guys? Redhead said that most likely this guy isn't even a potential recruit. :)

That would be Kevin Perron ('93), a 5'10" 145lb Junior Forward from Saratoga Springs. I think your correct that he wasnt a recruit and was just taking in the game with his family.

You guys are going to love Nick Bailen. He played a year for us (Bowling Green) before heading back to the USHL. I'm sure you all know that we almost lost our program a year ago, and some of the boys had to make a tough decision. Nick is a tough little son of a gun, can handle the puck, never gets beaten, and can shoot with the best of them. We hated to see him leave. He will quickly become a fan favorite. Consider yourselves very fortunate to have him. I can tell you, we would love to have him back.

Thanks for the info-as long as he takes the shortest distance to the puck and arrives in ill humor-I will just love him.:)

We are indeed ready for him to take his place on the 1st line D...in fact, we could've used him this weekend.

I am greatly looking forward to seeing him play for RPI.

Isn't Bowling Green in the RPI Holiday tournament next year?

Pulled this from an article on the cjhl website, which mentioned JL and Ouellette:

http://centraljuniorhockeyleague.ca/view/CJHL/news-110/news_11260

Ouellette, a former linemate of Laliberte's from their days together with the Hawkesbury Hawks, showed instant chemistry on Cornwall's top line, putting up nine goals and 18 assists in 16 games since the trade.

"Those two guys, I let them freelance a bit," said MacInnis. "There's a chemistry between them and there always has been. Their hockey sense and their skills, they're fun to watch."
I wonder if RPI was one of the teams inquiring about Ouellette the other day. We're pretty maxed out up front next year but Id love to see both these guys work there stuff together at HFH next year.

Would sure be nice to have them together. Vermont in the 90's did well by keeping teammates together (St Louis and Perrin) and it might work well here also.:)

Perhaps pencil Ming in at RW on that line in a couple years. I like the sound of that. :D

Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

Wouldn't it just be wonderful if we could win the tournament one of these days?

The sad thing is, once we stop trying to buy the tournament by bringing in mickey mouse teams and actually start bringing in the big guns, we'll actually win it.

Not that I know what we need another forward for next season since I count 19 already assuming that everyone is coming and Brutlag is a forward, it wouldn't surprise me if we are interested. That will be an even 20 which means that 8 sit out every game.
