I do agree with GLM in that given time, he'll be starting between the pipes in Columbus.

I never said that, I said that he's their best prospect right now. That doesn't always turn into joining the NHL. York has all the right physical attributes to be in the NHL for sure, but speculating beyond that is foolish.

Kevin Dluhy / New Jersey Rockets / MetJHL / Branchburg, N.J.

I saw this kid once a while ago here in NJ-if I recall correctly he is the antithesis of York in that he is rather short and very slender. He seemed very agile and in the game we saw he made some extremely difficult saves look rather routine.

I hereby declare that the Dude is on an epic losing streak.

5'9" and 145lb according to Heisenberg, but he is still only 15 years old.

I saw him when he was even a bit younger-that 145 pounds must have been with the equipment on;)

Im assuming he visited the same time his teammate Boo Nieves did. Nieves committed to Michigan and im pretty sure he said he picked Michigan over RPI and one other school. Whether or not it was an official or unofficial visit, im not sure.

This was on collegehockey247 a few months ago regarding Izyk:
I'm assuming when a recruit says he "visited" he means it was official.

This league page had him at 5'7" 135 this past season.

FWIW - USHR had Izyk as an "A" keeper following last summer's Select 15 Dev. Camp in Rochester.
"...1. Dalton Izyk (#1 White) 6-2/195 – Syracuse Stars. Very consistent. No great games, but no bad games either.

Dluhy was listed as a "B" kid..no comments given.

Those numbers seem to fit what we saw a while ago for Dluhy. Predicting how goal tenders will turn out as they mature is not an easy task.:)

Uconn is Doing and outdoor game. Also Yales coach is doing world juniors, hope he doesn't wear Jerry down.

What? Im sure Coach Allain will not "wear Jerry down" during the WJC just for the sake of the ECAC regular season. When the WJC is played it is about country not club or in this case college team. As for UCONN doing an outdoor game who cares? It is not going to make a difference on the UCONN team that shows up in November for the holiday tournament. Besides there is a thread for that event elsewhere on the board.

Today is 4 June 2010. There are 120 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 2 October for the start of next season.

I wouldn't expect them to use words in a consistent fashion -- no one else does. It's just like the recent use of the word "agent". :)

Yeah but the people using "Agent" recently weren't the recruits...they know better. A kid who is getting interest from RPI, Miami, UNH, etc. knows what "visit" means.

I did a quick scan through the last thread and didnt see this article from the AV Times about Nolan Graham posted anyplace.

I wonder what the hold up could be in regards to the official release coming from RPI. I think its almost been a month since he announced he was leaving Alberni.

“They’re kind of busy with something right now,” Pirri said in reference to tonight’s Stanley Cup finals opener in Chicago. “My agent has talked to him. Come camp time (in 2011 or later), I’m sure they’ll be impressed.” http://www.troyrecord.com/articles/2010/05/30/sports/doc4c032d925d335211950721.txt

It's a direct quote from Pirri, although I suppose Weaver still could have changed the words.

These things always seem to go slowly, and the fact that Graham is Canadian probably slows it up even more.
