I wonder when we will learn what the entering freshmen's uniform numbers are. I will need them for the countdown. one post to go.

Countdown to glory?:D

It isn't about getting a blowout win-- I think the coaches might argue that they use the exh. games as tune-ups ---to experiment with lines, let players get used to game pace, flow, line changes, officiating etc..

I think having one exhibition game should just about be mandatory-just to see how things work out on the ice in a game situation.:)

If i read the tea leaves correctly, I suspect that SA wants one, but is having trouble finding an opponent.

I know I would rather have that one game before going up against an HE team like BU or UNH. Tough to face those teams cold.:)

Am I correct that we can't schedule a D-III school because they can't begin playing that early?

Years ago we played Canadian Tier II schools, but I think that they wouldn't offer much competition now -- not that they did in the past.

Also SA apparently doesn't like the Red-White game.

You know we could reach 2000 posts on this thread if we keep doing this?

Even when trying, the Rep Retirement Lodge threads never reached close to 2000, and I don't think that the TRP or HG-YBI threads did either.
