I hope you are correct-but I think the ECAC teams have the book well read on how to defend against him. He could do it however if the other boys start giving the teams much more to worry about. 30 hasn't been hit since 1999 in the ECAC and it just seems to get tougher all the time. :)

Hobey Baker Semi-finalist ain't good enough anymore, eh?

There's no such thing as a Hobey Baker semi-finalist. He was one of 10 finalists but was not chosen for the Hat Trick.

I know I have stated before that it doesnt matter to me where JL ends up but, when does the Jacob Laliberte "The Decision" show happen like this Lebron James craziness. I can picture the local sports anchors and newspaper writers hold up outside his house waiting for him to make his choice. First interview goes to Ken Schott. GLM, Red Cloud and Ralph will give analysis on his choice. :D

Don't forget Dr. D:)

Dr. D is on the 3 hour pre-decision show that will happen before along with Wicked Slappaahs and FlagDUDE08. Its going to be the biggest thing to happen in Troy since the 1985 NCAA championship team. :D

When'd I get brought into this? At least I have been working on how to properly say Jacob Laliberté. :D

Don't forget Dr. D:)

It's nice to be remembered!:) I have been a big supporter of getting JL into Troy for so long-now I have gotten to the point that I just don't think too much about it. He is definitely a talent that would excel at the NCAA level-but he certainly needs to get his act together.

If ESPN is pulling every known reporter on staff into the Lebron saga, I would only imagine that we would pull every known poster into the JL saga. But if you dont wanna do it thats fine Im sure we could get rvd5star or whatever his name is to join up. :D

Re: RPI 2010 Off-Season III -- How we learned to stop worrying and love the Class of '14

Yes, it is invite only...I don't think NHL teams could handle American Idol type crowds for open tryouts...:p

As for his size, its all the more reason to bring him into a camp - to see how he competes against top talent who is bigger. Its not like it costs the team a draft pick or roster spot.

Question-I am assuming that undrafted players are only allowed to attend one camp?

Regarding Chase-ECAC Player of The Year-Top 10 Hobey Baker-First Team All American-he plays much larger than his size-has speed that kills-has a quick release accurate wrist shot-hasn't missed a game in three years-has been targeted in the ECAC since his freshman year and continues to improve each year-this year to the top of the charts. I think he only gets better next year. If we were at the races my money would be on him to win every time.

I've agreed to cede my podium time to Mr. Red Cloud. :p

No. UFA are just that - unrestricted - and can attend as many camps as they are invited to, so long as they pay their own way to stay in the good graces of the NCAA. For instance, Union's Keith Kincaid attended the Rangers camp last month, and is now in camp with Vancouver.

Well said Doc, that's where I'm at with JL as well. Love to have him, but am not gonna lose sleep over the soap opera.

Oh trust me I am and have been that way about JL but looking back at some of the older threads and posts it felt like the Lebron saga when we thought he was coming in this year. Just having a bit of fun with this to help pass the time before the real business gets taken care of in October and we can then start going from wondering to finding out to saying what if haha.

While we're thinking of Cornwall, it was nice of the S-F to not publish a follow-up piece after the Colts' prospect camp last weekend...I guess no one is interested in how JL or the Spink brothers performed. :D
