The goaltending situation, along with their veteran d-men returning next year, will be their absolute strength.
AHA has announced a new playoff format, with the top 4 overall teams getting byes, and a best-of-3 first round between the remaining 8 teams. Quarter finals are also still best-of-3, and then semi and finals are at BCA still...I think this is a better format than the east/west top two seeds getting byes.

I'm assuming this only impacts the playoff schedule. Not the regular season pod-based scheduling?
Not all rebounds are bad. I don't remember what he gave up in that Merrimack game, but many goalie purposely throw rebounds out to "non dangerous" areas. I personally liked what I saw out of Watson last year and didn't have a problem with the games he played
*I only bring that up because I think if he gets drafted he may be encouraged to go someplace where he will get a bulk of the minutes rather than teams waiting for him to develop behind a guy who's only a junior and as an overager is likely to stay for his full 4 years
Didn't Madalora have to sit out a year? Or was that just delaying the start of his eligibility?

Canucks defensemen Christian Ehrhoff and Aaron Rome were injured last night, and there's a strong possibility Chris Tanev could play in game 4. It helps Ballard and Alberts(the other possibilities) play the opposite side of Tanev. I think Tanev and Ballard did pretty well together during the regular season.
Watching the Sharks game today, I can confirm Tanev is on the ice. While I wish him the best, I hope his team loses!
Well, he looked good and got some good commentary from the NBC announcers.
