>>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

Re: >>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

Let's talk about two disgustingly evenly matched teams. RIT's defense was key to keeping Plattsburgh at bay, because Platty definitely pressed hard both games. They gave RIT's forwards a tough go of trying to get to the slot, but they still managed it now and then. Between Mackerel and Chaimbs, it's a goaltending duel to boot. Mandy definitely had to make more low-quality saves, and Laura had to come up huge on a number of "how do you miss that!" opportunities for Platty.

PLAYOFFS?! They're gonna be crazy. Both of these teams are good. Real good.

Don't count out Elmira or Neumann as a potential spoiler to the Plattsburgh/RIT ECAC West final.

Elmira has won seven out of nine ECAC West tournaments, including the only team to win it, not on home ice and they've done it two or three times.

Re: >>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

Fixed your post.

Awfully mouthy for a team that split with Elmira on their home ice.

Granted, I know EC is down a little bit this year but Sullivan is a stud and EC has usually played its best hockey down the stretch, especially in the ECAC West tournament.

I'll remember this post in March Trots.

I'm definitely looking forward to the Elmira games to round out this season. It's a shame they're not on the same weekend though.

The goal for RIT should be staying healthy. Buff State and Oswego should be wins but they can't risk injuries either.

Re: >>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

And I'll remember someone who posts 250 times a day about 3 different teams he cheers for calling me mouthy

And p.s. -- this is my last post. I'm pretty much over this forum. Watching good hockey this past weekend reminded me that that's what really counts. No one on this forum decides who wins. It's up to the ladies of Division III hockey. And fans and SIDs around the country aren't going to have any effect on anyone by spending their time rambling on on here about this team that team and who's better. If that's everyone else's prerogative, I'm cool with it. For myself, I don't want to be a part of that anymore. Guilty as charged for my past posts about teams and players, but my future will be better without the clowns and lack of professionalism on this forum. I don't want anymore part of it.

Enjoy the rest of the season everyone! It's going to be a fun ride the rest of the way. Good luck to all teams from here on out.

As someone who doesn't post 250 times a day, I also thought your post was mouthy. The rest of PJs post was important, and just because you don't know how to function on an internet forum doesn't make him the enemy. Come back when you grow up a little.

Where the heck does this come from?

You're in a sports information department yourself and you have the audacity to come at me with this holier than thou attitude?

You made a smartarse remark and I responded to it. Where is this lacking professionalism on my end?

Yep. Though I wonder what might have happened had RIT been able to capitalize in the first period on Friday, when it looked like Mackerell was the only Cardinal who'd bothered to get off the bus. Fortunately for Plattsburgh, the rest of the team showed up during the first intermission.

I can only see ny19's posts when people quote them. Not sure why, but I suppose that is probably a good thing.

Re: >>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

Already did...but then again, there's always tomorrow...and the rest of the week...FORE!!! More fun than posting here anymore...it's getting boring don't you think?!

Re: >>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

This should be posted. Great Job Ladies!! Heart Disease Fundraiser
Two amazing games and crowds. This weekend was fun to watch.

Add this to the $21,000+ raised with the men's team last year last year during the Pink in the Rink games. Absolutely Amazing!

Typical weekend against Buff State. Grabbed the wins, but at what cost? Just once I would like to see a game where Buff State plays it clean and doesn't target RIT's best players. I've never seen a team that insists on running goaltenders over like Buff State does. And when the officials don't step in, players get injured.

It'd be nice if RIT could just skip games against teams like this. There's nothing to gain from beating head-hunting bottom feeders.

Also, thank you to the Buff State penalty box attendant who gave me the finger on Friday for telling her to get off of her phone and pay attention to her job. Such a sparkling personality. There's no excuse for opening the box door with 9 seconds left in a penalty.

Here's to hoping that most of our injured players are cleared for Elmira this weekend. One VERY important game.

Re: >>>>RIT Tigers 2010-2011<<<<

I thought they lost it at one point and RIT got all of them?

RF had been getting two.

Really? I've been checking every week. I don't remember that happening.

I didn't know exactly how many RF was getting because it never showed up, but I thought it was only one.

EDIT: I checked, looks like they had all 15 on 1/17, didn't notice that.

RF Had 2 on 1/10

What's this doing on page 2? All we did was beat Elmira at the Thunderbra for the first time ever.
