Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Congrats to 'Diva!

Good luck to JF!

The peewees surprised me tonight by playing the best game they have in about 2 weeks and beat one of the other Edina teams 3-2. Jr. got the second goal - rebound like all his goals - he's a net crasher. The goalie is a good friend of his. It'll be fun at lunch tomorrow. They will likely now wind up tied for first in District, but will lose the tie-breaker to get seeded second in the playoffs. That means they will likely face the same team again in the semi-finals of District.:(

Ice all over. About 2/3 of Adrian is out of power, and has been all day. I could hear limbs breaking last night as I was trying to sleep. At times it sounded like someone was dragging a cardboard box across the floor outside. Still no satellite dish. The ice got that too, I think.

EDIT: This is what we got. Look at pic #1

The possum and I are going to war in the garage tonight.
I was wondering about you Hammer. Adrian really got it with the ice. We got plenty of it in Clinton here, but we did get some sleet and snow mixed in as well, so its not a totally solid 2 inches of ice. Either way though, it did suck and it knocked our power out as well. I mostly just sat around after we got a few things dug out and watched DVDs once the generator was going.

And let us know how the battle with the possum goes. Say the word and I'll bring our live trap over for you. That will get the little bugger, and gives you a way of permanently relocating it to a place where there are no witnesses. ;)

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! terrible tuesday is here.
I need to go to somewhere with some sun. Seasonal affective disorder in full bloom right now. Nothing is bright.

Morning.

Is today over yet? I want to know if I have a lot of free time coming up or not. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Morning lodge. I'm going to try to make it into work today before noon. Stupid Blaine...

Damm slippery out there. We got a dusting of something that couldn't decide if it was supposed to be snow or rain.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Good news! I just got hired on the spot at my interview! :D Not a teaching gig, but pretty much a perfect fit for me at this point--a running store. :D

And, no, there will be no "Diva-dork" spawn any time soon. Jesus, that thought even scares me!! No, we set the date. June 23, 2012. :D

Congrats!

But yesterday was a good Monday (I know, weird). Besides the fact that the Mrs. and I had to get up early for a drs. apt, we got surprised with an impropmtu (sp?) ultra sound because the baby wouldn't stay still. The doctor couldn't get a heart beat cause the little one was moving around so much. This proves to the Mrs. (there wasn't any doubt anyway) that the baby is mine because it won't stay still. She's calling the baby her kangaroo. And then I had the day off. So all in all, a good Monday.

Indeed. I'm happy it's not just me (though it's probably a mix of SAD and PMS). Was dreaming of the spring this morning on our way back from the gym.

she's cool. She doesn't bring the pain anymore.

Well, it's official. I caught the plague of death, or whatever was going around. Now I'm spending my off days in bed. :(
