You would think that I would stop eating foods that I know make my stomach and all other gastrointestinal areas hurt. You would think... :o I'm an idiot.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

We were in Bemidji this past weekend to watch BSU destroy cc. :) We left BJI early yesterday morning due to the potential of bad weather. (We left at 6AM) Inlaws called Mrs. g cell phone about 7 AM and asked us what we were doing for the day. Mrs. g said we have no plans and we don't want to make any because we have been gone all weekend and we just want to relax at home. Guess who showed up at our door an hour after we got home?

They knew that the storm was coming and they decided to visit us anyways. In fact, it was odd that for planning a day trip they had bags packed. Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that my kids can hang out with their grandparents and such as that is very important. However, the environment is tense and uneasy. As much as I would rather not be around any of them I can deal with it. Mrs. g on the other hand has a tough time taking the high road.
How sad that my instinct, hundreds of miles away, was on the mark. Please tell mrs g that I feel for her. You might want to find a local hotel and tell them you just found out you were all exposed to the flu and you don't want to them to catch it. Not quite sure why mrs g needs to take the high road. They push the envelope because no one calls them on it. She should call them on it. She did before and they still are talking to her (unfortunately). Or you could pitch a tent and you and the kids would see if you can go adventuring in the back yard :D

Yes, I know it is frigid, Just pitch the tent and you guys go to the hotel. :p

I don't know if people do or not. I just thought of it and figured that some people probably do, since 7 out of 10 are complete dumbasses.
Are those the same 7 you ended up getting phone numbers from on Saturday night? :D

Ice all over. About 2/3 of Adrian is out of power, and has been all day. I could hear limbs breaking last night as I was trying to sleep. At times it sounded like someone was dragging a cardboard box across the floor outside. Still no satellite dish. The ice got that too, I think.

EDIT: This is what we got. Look at pic #1

The possum and I are going to war in the garage tonight.

Yes, there is tri apparel there. And yes, you should come visit! :D
I believe they also mentioned something today about hosting a half-IM in the next few years. ;)

you don't say...well...then...

The inlaws have decided to stay another night.

you're just so charming ;)

I'm definitely the less-romantic in my relationship, but I'd ask the SO to find his balls if he wanted to do this.

I don't even know what day my "anniversary" is

So the axe starts falling tomorrow at work. Should be an interesting and anxious day.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 130: Revolutions Abound!

Mulligatawny soup and a batch of pumpkin-cranberry muffins for dinner. Have a good night folks.;)
It's rare for food from your house, but those muffins actually don't sound good to me. Each alone would probably be great, but not together for me.

That's one year, to the day, before you're married.

Good news! I just got hired on the spot at my interview! :D Not a teaching gig, but pretty much a perfect fit for me at this point--a running store. :D

And, no, there will be no "Diva-dork" spawn any time soon. Jesus, that thought even scares me!! No, we set the date. June 23, 2012. :D
Congrats, 'diva!

I do the same thing. It's part of being food-obsessed... I have to try everything once, even if I know it will cause problems later.

Good evening, Lodge. Scrambled eggs for dinner tonight.
