I mentioned to 'diva, does WY have a rent thing, where you get some money back if you make under a certain dollar amount and are renting?

MN does, and it's nice.

I have way more than I know what to do with. I just keep getting them. It's ridiculous. If anyone wants one, e-mail me. I'll hook you up. Except people I don't like. Which is a lot of you. :p

Not sure, but it does have one really nice thing - a whopping 0% income tax.

So does Alaska - heck, they pay YOU to live there!

too busy on other innertube pages researching a new country club to join.... mine is going up on auction april 15th and nobody wants to be left hanging.:( too many choices to spend my money.:p

I have one of my four w-2's (City, waiting on GHS, MSHS, and NMU). I already started e-filing with the one, and so far, I'm really liking what I see. :)

I have one of my 4. One of the others was sent home, so I'm waiting for my mom to send it. 2 of 4 still missing. :mad:

waiting on the wife's from her unemployment from the state... they are dragging me down. i've had mine for a week.

Any and all downhill skiing events, hockey, probably a couple of the snowboarding ones, and since I'll most likely be up during the wee hours of the morning, I might take a passing interest in curling.

That's the thorn in my side right now--they all go to my permanent address (no matter how many times I list my local address), so I have to wait for them to get to TC, then wait the 3+ days it seems to take for them to get here from there. I should just change my permanent address away from there, but I don't want to until I'm completely settled in one particular house or apartment.

Makes sense. I plan on staying here for awhile, so this is my permanent address (and it's made things easier as far as having in-state tuition and other benefits), but I was home for 3 weeks, so I had my mail forwarded. Now my mail as some of it went there and it's starting to come here again.

i can't wait until tax season... filing in 3 states but I should get a fair bit of my money back... especially seeing as how the feds sucked up a fair bit of my signing bonus.

Anybody use H&R block or anything else... i'd rather not shell out like $150 to do my returns but my work situation makes things strange. I'd rather just use TurboTax software or something.

I use H&R Block's software. I've not had any complaints. It's pretty straight forward if you have all of your documents in hand before starting the process. Correcting a submission can be somewhat of a pain, in my experience.
