I met him when I was out there in 2008 (he tailgates for Vikes games too); he's quite a character.

Evening, Lodge. Tomorrow, I interview with the company taking over the demos at Sam's. And I decided to accept my severance package as well; the money will be nice.

Yeah, they showed us some stuff tonight that would let us get more comfortably into some more of the problems areas of the low back and hips, like getting into the Quadratus Laborum, Glutes, Quads and Adductors as well.

Those of you that go Commando for their massages clearly haven't been put on their side to recieve work on them.

I don't even have my W2 yet. Should be getting a pretty nice refund though, which is a down payment on my new car when I get to Palinland.

Not sure, but it does have one really nice thing - a whopping 0% income tax.

So does Alaska - heck, they pay YOU to live there!

Yeah, any idea of how much that is, and how soon you would get it??

waiting on the wife's from her unemployment from the state... they are dragging me down. i've had mine for a week.

Amazingly, I already have mine W2 from the state and semi-sometime former employer. Just need to collect a few more things for it I believe, and I should be able to get that done soon myself.

I really should start keeping track of what I rep.

So, I played rugby tonight for the first time. Holy crap if that's not going to get me to quit smoking, I don't know what is. We played with the boys, I'm pretty sure I have a concussion, I have a bruise the size of two softballs on my thigh, and I can't WAIT for practice on Monday. It's just one of those things that you fall in love with instantly. Did an indian run and kept up pretty well, and actually set a faster pace than most of the boys did, which was pretty awesome. I guess I'm not as out of shape as I thought I was.

Give it a week and see how much you still like it.

Same here, my mom hates this time of year but loves the paychecks she gets but since she does my taxes for me, michigan has the most retarded state form ever, i dont complain at all for how long it takes her to get them done

Yeah, thats why I take mine in to a professional to get it done. I would never make heads or tails from it. Usually just over to H&R Block for me. Can't imagine that it will look all that pretty this year.

Curling, hockey, speedskating, bobsledding, and luge for me.

Figure skating, hockey, snowboarding, downhill skiing, and the crazies (luge and skeleton).

All that stuff (too lazy to type) and Apollo Ono is HOT!

Went to the world curling champchips in Lowell a few yrs ago. Really hooked. Scotland won. We were sitting with their fans. It was pandemonium.

Morning Lodge. A little below zero here, but light wind, not too bad. Will be interesting outdoor practice tonight with a full moon and single digit temps.

In prep for the Olympics I too need to clear out the DVR including some recent past Viking games I have no interest in watching again and eleventy billion episodes of "Avatar the Last Air Bender" which my son somehow set to record every time it's on, which is several times per day.

I watched a high school hockey game (well third period and OT) on the computer last night. It was surprisingly watchable. I know the play-by-play guy from kid hockey stuff. It's made me think I may want to see about the streaming of the Gopher games from UAA this weekend.

And the gub'ment always sends me a big check. I know it's technically dumb, and it's my money to begin with, but I'd rather have that than getting that extra pittance every week.

Believe me, we expect nothing less from someone who still writes checks.

I usually get between $1000 and $1500 every year in refunds. I'll usually apply that to some credit card debt, as I'd probably blow the money if it were given to me in smaller increments in my paychecks.
