A few days? I resent that. I'm getting outta town until I see QU or Michigan Tech on the Denver schedule.

I finally played for the first time last year. I sat down, and the man known as WPoS (on the GopherPuckLive) board threw one dart, the first dart of the game, and hit a bottomhole, thereby ending the game, with me losing.

You bought a ticket. I don't see what the big deal was. It's not like someone went without (as I was told FlagGuy was short due to backouts/etc). Oh well, it's over and done with.

I doubt WPOS would get mad about something like that. In fact, the only time I have ever seen the guy get truly mad at all is when some idiot crosschecked him "after the whistle" during pickup hockey. (I did make a point to apologize to him later, though.)

Mmmmmm...... BLT's for lunch, and I think I've finally started to make some progress with the people in Adrian. Only a few more hoops I think.

Now, I'm off to class in Ann Arbor to learn some advance techneques for the lower back and hips.

BLTs: win. Must have them for lunch tomorrow.

Also, if you learn anything that will help my hips, let me know.

An update for anyone that's interested...

Had my follow-up with the doctor today. Everything is healing fine and looks good. The lab work confirmed it was a staph infection so it was really good that I got it taken care of as soon as it became a problem.

The official diagnosis is a sebaceous cyst in a sweat gland. Somehow the gland got infected which likely caused the cyst to develop, although he can't be sure (chicken and egg scenario). There's still a small, soft lump (the cyst) but all signs of infection are gone. I no longer need to keep the incision open and can start letting it heal.

The bad news is there's a 1 in 3 chance an infection will recur. If it does, the doctor wants to surgically remove the cyst. Unfortunately, that requires an actual surgical procedure due to the location (he told me sebaceous cysts anywhere else on the body can usually be done in the office). I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Oh well, it's another inconvenience on the road of life. At the end of the day, it's just a nuisance and other people are a lot worse off than me.

I just want to be able to sit comfortably again!

Evening, Lodge. Tomorrow, I interview with the company taking over the demos at Sam's. And I decided to accept my severance package as well; the money will be nice.

Just set up my external hard drive (596 GB) to act as a Tivo for the olympic coverage in a couple weeks. My laptop can only record one program at a time, and I've only got a limited channel selection at school, but I'll be recording everything I want.

Curling, hockey, and maybe some skeleton/luge/bobsledding. That's about it for me.
