Off to church in a few minutes, then some late morning exercise before heading to a family gathering of thirty-two people for most of the day and into the evening when the Broncos play the NY Giants.

I'm thankful for my iPod and random songs playing this morning while I peel, slice, & mash 15lbs of potatoes: The Boss followed by Waylon Jennings/Willie Nelson followed by the Fine Young Cannibals followed by Satchmo followed by Green Day followed by Patsy Cline followed by Bonnie Raitt.....

Happy Thanksgiving Lodge! :)

I'm not the biggest fan of feasts and such, but the holiday is indeed a good time for me to remember to be thankful for all that I have.

On a side note, someone want to refill me? Someone would apparently like to eat my pie, and thinks the best way to do that would be red chiclets.

And Happy Thanksgiving to the Lodge! Ran a turkey trot this morning in 29:54, and won a loaf of pumpernickel bread during the post-race raffle. This day is turning out NPB.

So, as the lone Packers fan on my dad's side of the family, I determined it was wisest to just stay home and watch the game with the puppy.
And Driver's 68 yd catch was a beauty.
Anyways, my G'Pa doesn't take to my teasing about his Lions very well... This should be an interesting Thanksgiving as always.

Hi there gang. Happy Thanksgiving! Went to the parade this morning. We were in our spot about 6:15am. In the actual cross street of W. 64th St. There were already so many people already in place. We were lucky to get that spot. Naturally, many people filled in behind us. Including some kids who thought they could just step all over our blanket and get right up to the barrier where we were. I did my best to thwart them. If these people want their kids to be able to see, then they need to get there MUCH earlier and teach their kids to respect people that did get there early.

I'm sitting here watching The Brady Bunch. It's the three part episode where they go to the Grand Canyon!! I'm also waiting for a new hair dryer. The one in the room doesn't work. This hotel is pretty crappy. Especially for the money I'm paying.

but did nobody imagine what would happen? the dangers involved?

i know we sent soldiers into the glow fields after bombs were tested, but it's not like they didn't first evacuate the areas first...:confused:
