Yeah, I need to get up and take care of some laundry, and pack for this weekend. Moving around would help me feel better I think. No promisses about it.

Back from my neighbor's. Really good food (except for the mashed sweet potatoes). Summit Winter Ale, PBR, and Coors Light were what we had for beer to chose from. What a tough decision that was. :p

Also spent after dinner talking about the crap we all used to pull as kids against the other kids in the neighborhood. Our neighborhood had two distinct groups of friends growing up. Our group probably took the other for a few thousand total in our time growing up with various schemes such as forged baseball cards (To be fair, if you're dumb enough to think we got our hands on a signed Kirby Puckett card and were willing to part with it for $10...you deserved it). :D

We also played Clue, which I won. It was Professor Plum in the Kitchen with the knife.. :)

I'm the oldest of all of the grandkids on my mom's side, so I get to deal with my 4 & 8 year old brothers, and 7 & 9 year old male cousins, plus my puppy (who's been cuddling all day, so is bound to be a hellion).
Other than that, it'll be me, my parents, my nana, my grandma and grandpa, and two uncles.

Add garlic and sour cream if you want to! Also, I don't peel my potatoes; I just smash them... I like the "rustic" look.

Well, dinner was actually good today. My family actually liked the succotash I made, as well as the garlic mashed potatoes. It was a good day.

Our dinner's not till tonight. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to read everybody's stories . . . but you're all killin' me with the food stories!

Bah. Only 6 hours to go. Six long, long, hungry hours . . .

Morning, Lodge. Whoever decided that Black Friday should start before the buttcrack of dawn needs to be shot. I see no reason sales can't start at noon :mad:
