Starting to freak out here. Appearently my buddy was all set to pull the trigger on renting a passenger van this weekend to go to Duluth, but the idiot didn't price it out until this morning, and then when he told people that would be around 50 bucks a person, 2 of them backed out on us, so now it looks like we might just drive our own vehicals up to Duluth instead. And from the sounds of things, I need to find another person to ride with me perhaps. :(


And if things couldn't get worse, the do was on my lap earlier and had runny butt. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Howdy Lodge

Got my deer today. 9 pointer, not a huge rack, but still pretty nice, but its a huge deer, 200 lbs fully dressed. I got it after the drive was over, I was back at the pickup, gun unloaded and cased, I see this huge buck running across the field, so I quick pulled my gun back out of the case and got one shell loaded and plugged him as he ran by. Only took one shot, which was good, since that's all I had. :p

those are great...

i've mentioned before. the summer between my fr/so year at BU i worked at the bellaire country club in clearwater fla. i'd go in for lunch everyday and the cook would make me a grilled cheese with bacon on a big azz croissant!! then cover the plate with fries.

god dam was that good. croissant was so big it held 5 slices of cheese.

(and no, that food 5x week doesn't kill you. that was the summer of 1987 :p )

That sounds wonderful right now! Yes... sourdough bread, thick slice peppered bacon, and either Gruyere or Provolone cheese...

That's a good job outa you! If you don't want all that venison, I'll take some. ;)

We had baked potatoes for dinner. With sauteed broccoli, onions and mushrooms, cheese and....BACON! They were good. :)

Watch Godfather I and II, then during III watch Home Alone. Lather, rinse, repeat.



Since I probably won't be around for a couple of days, have a happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Remember through all of the bickering and eating to think about what you're truly thankful for :)
