From the "as if it couldn't get any worse" dept...

One of the guys that works for me went to the ER today because they think he had a stroke. He came to me this morning saying his eyes hurt after doing a job yesterday that required some pretty detailed work using a magnifying glass (he actually looked almost cross-eyed). HR took him to the company doc and their reaction was immediate: get to the ER now! :eek:

That was late morning and I still haven't heard anything. If he or his wife don't call me by 8 pm I'll try his house to see if there's any news.

Never had a parole officer, just a probation officer.

I have never met her, only talked to her on the phone three times and in a couple of e-mails. I guess they didn't consider me a very big threat.

Yes, it was real probation. I made a decision in 2006 that most would call unsavory. :o

When I played I don't remember them resurfacing after two periods. It was much needed though.

Grab a bunch of friends with SUV's and trucks and roadtrip it...:D

People are seriously moronic. Some lady got ****ed about something. Our insanely hot exec was running to and from HER CAR (apparently we started doing curbside service :rolleyes:)to help her out and she still got *****ed out over $15.00. When the **** finally left she stayed outside with me and another coworker to collect her self, and was almost in tears over it. I made her feel better though (not the way I would have liked to ;)).

Them folkses over to Sports Illustrated am way smart. Allow me to quote from an item in the current issue. The article focuses on the plight of Huntsville after the current season ends.

Thanks les. I got a message from his wife... they're keeping him overnight and are going to do an MRI(?) in the morning. I can't figure out why an MRI if they're thinking stroke???

I'm a medical illiterate... I didn't think they did MRI's on the head. Isn't that what a CT Scan is for?

Like I said, I stoopedo! (not to be confused with gmann's Stars & Stripes speedo :eek: )

according to les and rover, MRI's are capitalist tools to inflate the costs of health care. you should suggest they pass on this needless expense. :p :p :p :p
