Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 87: As All Hallow's Eve Approches.....

Been snowing lightly but steadily all day in my neighborhood. We have about half a foot thus far. Still snowing now and the current forecast is calling for snow through tomorrow night until about ten o'clock. An additional 10 to 15 inches is expected in my neighborhood--which is certainly not receiving the heaviest snowfall from this storm. In metro-Denver, the southern suburbs have gotten the most snowfall thus far. Highlands Ranch and that side of town has about 15 inches already with lots more on the way.

The mountains west of the Continental Divide may get as much as four feet by the time the storm dissipates tomorrow night. The Mankatos may have some fun flying into DIA tomorrow for the Friday/Saturday series against the Pioneers. ;)

Lucky! :)

Question 2: just how in the world do I pull off moving there? I've looked for moving companies, but have come up pretty much blank.
Hook trailer to vehicle, drive :p
Them folkses over to Sports Illustrated am way smart. Allow me to quote from an item in the current issue. The article focuses on the plight of Huntsville after the current season ends.

===>"Last year's NCAA champion, Bemidji State"<===

Yeah, the article goes on from there. But ya just can't beat stellar reporting like that can ya?
Getting to the Frozen Four doesn't equal champion? ;) :D
Checking in from Orlando. :)
Hope you're having a good time! :)

Snow just started here. Parts of North Dakota are forecast to receive 8 to 12 inches.

Evening, Lodge. I stopped some high school kid from thieving $122 worth of merchandise from Walmart tonight :)

I was covering for a greeter's break, and I was tipped off by another employee that there were kids shoving stuff in bags. He gave me a description of the kids and left. About a minute later a kid fitting the description comes to the doors to leave with two Walmart bags that were (IMO) overstuffed. I stopped him and asked for his receipt. After he checked all of his pockets and couldn't find it (I wonder why), I asked him if he remembered what register he checked out at. He mumbled "in the back" so I asked, "In electronics? Okay, come with me for a minute" with the intent of calling a CSM to the closest register. As soon as I turned around, he dropped the bags and left.

Anyway, I feel like I earned my pay tonight :)
Way to go, 'bando! :)

Thanks les. I got a message from his wife... they're keeping him overnight and are going to do an MRI(?) in the morning. I can't figure out why an MRI if they're thinking stroke???
Hope all turns out well!

Evening, Lodge. There's nothing better than a big bowl of cereal right before bed...

Afternoon Lodge.

Cheyenne is in full-on panic mode. All highways out of Cheyenne are closed, and the city is virtually shut down. I didn't have anything pressing, so I said screw it and went home.

Question 2: just how in the world do I pull off moving there? I've looked for moving companies, but have come up pretty much blank.
Sherpa's. Might take em a year to get it all there, but those sturdy little buggers won't scratch up your stuff getting it to Anchorage.

Never had a parole officer, just a probation officer.

I have never met her, only talked to her on the phone three times and in a couple of e-mails. I guess they didn't consider me a very big threat.
Fools, **** Fools!!! They've really dropped the ball on this one. ;)

Not bad, but this story would have been cooler if you had broken out some of your Midget Voltron powers on him. ;)

Yet another poster thinks Red Cloud is a special ed. teacher in Schenectady. This person also thinks he went to Michigan, just because he knows who Jed Ortmeyer is.

That's right, the poster is UMICHhockeyRULZ.

I have just made it my life goal to find a way to have all three at once right before bed.

Edit: Replace cereal with bacon.

Did Sloe Gin make it back to Denver? If I correctly remember which airline he flies, his plane was about 2 hours late.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 87: As All Hallow's Eve Approches.....

Mornin' all ;)

The fact that tomorrow's Friday is probably the only thing getting me going today. :(
