'ewe, just plead - sorry, no capacity. You'll have to do it yourself. We're all in the same boat. - Worst case, YOU get laid off and collect u/e for a couple months while enjoying the winter w/o commuting. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

gmann, better have some strong liquor handy as it'll be a tough weekend for you.

This weekend is going to blow. Tomorrow I am working at a high school soccer tournament. The weather is supposed to be just sucky. Sunday I have to attend a business conference which starts at 2. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

Some members of each of the fifty-nine previous DU hockey teams will be back on campus this weekend as Denver celebrates its sixtieth season of college hockey. I'm told that the captain of DU's first team is alive and well and will be dropping a ceremonial first puck between DU captain Rhett Rakhshani and Vermont's captain before this evening's contest. ;)

If you see one of my high school classmates there, tell him hi for me - Bobby Krieger. Played '70-'74 for DU.

I'm sorry that RPI got hosed, but that generally reflects the way I feel about ECAC officials, so it all evens out.
I wonder which league supplied the refs in the 1985 championship game. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I should just start adding this at the end of every post I make. :p

Yes, that's what the young kids are calling it nowadays.

I am sure 99.99% of tLodge thinks my comebacks are dull and childish. However, I get a good chuckle out of it. :p

Are you sure you want him to do that given that we know he mixes alcohol and his meds? :D

So in review...

gmann's Weekend To Do List:
Order incredibly bad weather from the local weather channel. Check.

Work a high school feetsball tourney, miss all TV football games. Check.

Attend bidness conference on Sunday. Check.

Rinse. Repeat. Check.

Sounds like ya got all the bases covered big guy. Way to go. :p

The lad has a CC meet in Alex tomorrow. Told him good luck, dress warmly, & see you when you get home. :)

Nice. I know the Alex AD quite well. He is short staffed as there are a couple activites planned this weekend. There is a chance I might be at the cc meet. 1500 runners are expected. Good luck to your son and dressing warmly is good advice!

Self-medicating through laughter at your own jokes. One of the first sure signs of psychopathic behavior.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I am SO. TIRED. Though I think I get to sleep in the bed instead of on the couch tonight. I bought a new down alternative comforter and a pair of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (think Burl Ives) flannel pajamas today :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

So I decide to burn 4 hours of leave and give myself what amounts to a 4-day weekend. Good idea, right?

WRONG!

I decide to start the weekend by treating myself to some Sonic. On the way back, some chucklehead not paying attention plows into the Chevy Avalanche behind me, sending her into my rear bumper.

Now I get to waste my time running around Cheyenne filling out accident forms.

That's no fun.

Someone opened their car door into mine the other day (more like flung it open and then the wind gusted and it SLAMMED into mine...), leaving quite a nice paint transfer/scratch and dent. Scratch-x did a miraculous job removing the scratches and scuffs, but it didn't do much for the dent.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

So it appears that USCHO has updated their top nav bar. You can go directly to the Cafe from the home page.

Could you not before? I thought I could always get there by clicking on the logo.
