Evening, Lodge. Work sucked, tapering for a marathon sucks, my car sucks... thankfully, the sandwich I had for dinner did not suck.

That's horrible, especially after agreeing to take a cut in hours. Here's hoping that you have plenty of severance pay at the least.

Looks good, and not too far from me either. The hard shakes sound interesting to say the least...

It is VERY good. I had a shake when I went, but apparently they have a special shake every day of the week, and that is the only day you can get it. I went on Thursday and head a cherry pie shake, it was incredible. The only other one I remember is Wednesday and that was rice krispie treat shake. I want to go back, but I want to go on Thursday to get the cherry pie one again

Burger Jones is actually only 1 block from where I live. So yeah I've been there a few times.

They are little overpriced, but their burgers are good. Always ask what the special is, as it changes daily and is never on the menu.

Also if they aren't busy you can pretty much order any burger you want. As long as they have the ingredients they will make it for you.

Yup - quite good, quite overpriced, and looks like a fun place to kick off a bar-hopping evening. Pretty good selection at the bar, and something like 16 beers on tap? Most of them were quality too.

I think Gonzo should find his former boss's car and let his chickens roost inside for a while. Maybe shovel a few scoops of used straw through the closed window.

I don't hammerpunch unless they try to storm the flight deck...then I'm beating the hell out of them and peeing on them. But yeah, too many flight attendants these days are too uppity and will toss you off if you're slightly intoxicated. If that happens, you can ask if you can speak with the captain and explain that you are not drunk and will not be a disturbance, but majority of the time, the captain will side with the flight attendant and you'll get blacklisted. If you're riding Frontier, say you know me and I'll make sure you are fine.
