Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

I'm kind of rooting for the Phillies. I want to see if everyone will whine about Philadelphia teams winning as much as they used to whine about Boston teams.

Because Philly fans will kill people.

I don't mind if a meeting gets a little off-track, as long as it doesn't force the meeting to run over its alotted time and the topic is actually something that is valuable to discuss.

Try running a meeting when your audience is a bunch of monkeys.

SFW and the final one of three is what I am talking about. Welcome to my world. :)

wT and gmann- sorry to hear.

Cancer does suck:mad: :(

Yes it does. Earlier today the co worker sent a link to her Caring Bridge site to all the staff. Her children wrote her a letter (ages 15 and 12). It was tough to read. :(

Time to play the "How long until I get neg repped by SLU fans" game.

Eh, I saw it, *shrug*. We wanted Lake Placid as much as you and RC wanted Albany, we each saw the appeals of our own choices, and that whole thread was a charlie foxtrot anyways. It'll be interesting to see what happens in 2011, I'll probably end up going to check it out since it's not too far from me anyways.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

I just noticed the Maine thread title in D-1. Are they really so bad they are only expected to win 7 games? or did the thread starter just not know what the Mendoza line is? ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Checking in. Went for drinks with my coworkers (admin staff and the 2 remaining associates - we had 4 when the first started on June 1). It was truly depressing. Every single person is looking for a new job (there are 7 of us). It was like being in group therapy, every story was worse than the previous and the physical effects of working in this environment are starting to take their toll. One of the associates had a panic attack at the office and ended up in the emergency room and came to work the next day and never told anyone he was in the hospital. Another has developed a bleeding ulcer. No one in the group is over 32. :(

No job is worth that. None.

Got 6 was more the SLU fella I was thinking of since he's the guy that can't appropriately plan a trip and then blames the city because he's dumb.

That is horrible.

If it wouldn't get you blacklisted, I'd say that everyone in your office should just stop working. Not quit, just... stop working for an hour. Sit around, relax, just chat with your fellow coworkers. Maybe your bosses would get the picture, though I doubt it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Bitter. Bitter, party of two. :p :D ;)

After the 10th inning this afternoon, I was ready to burn down the world. Feeling slightly better now.
Dear Boss,
I would love a few pertinent suggestions on how you think I should handle Mr. Butinski. I have tried a number of strategies to attempt to work with Mr Butinski in a colleageal manner and all have been unsuccessful. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
wT
