Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

Just got back in from a round of golf, shot 95 again, but its my 3rd round this year, and 4th in the past 2 years, so I guess its acceptable. Made a 40 foot putt, but couldn't stay out of the trees, so it made for a scenic round.

I was supposed to go to The Fair today. I spent an hour and a half on Como between 280 and the Fairgrounds and had to turn around since I work at 4 (by the time I would have found a spot to park (all south lots were full) and walked to the gates I would have had to leave in a half hour).

To those not familiar with the area...http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sou....983256,-93.180628&spn=0.026226,0.077162&z=14

EDIT: I expected traffic to be bad, but I don't remember it being this bad...

Wow, that is bad. I remember times growing up that going north on Snelling, traffic would be backed up half way to 94. I'm not planning on parking at the fair, its too busy and expensive. Either I will park at my friend's house and walk the mile to the fair or take a park and ride bus.

Take the 20 minute bus ride like the rest of the smart people who don't want to deal with traffic and parking?

It is absolutely pouring here. I was thinking about going to a football game tonight (a small school here has their first varsity football game ever), but I'm not putting up with this.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

That's roughly $115 mil after tax. At 2% interest you're looking at just over $191,000 a month in interest before taxes. You can make a lot of monthly donations to the Jimmy Fund and never touch the principle.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

BPH just needs money ;)

WTW: Wow, that sounds awesome.

ewe: Yup, that still sucks. And now they're just rubbing salt in the wound. You're right though, you do get some overtime from the deal.

bb_dl: I've been told that the peach-glazed pork cheeks are excellent.

Evening, Lodge. Beautiful day today in 763ville and 612land.
