Umm, there's a reason the forecasts I use at work update every 6 hours, and often even amend within those 6 hours.

See, that's BS. They nailed the LATER forecast, but can't nail the earlier one? It wasn't even a matter of how MUCH it was going to rain. It was either: rain, or no rain. And they whiffed. Big time.

Brent, I think you should forecast how many pallets you'll move on Wednesday, then let us know whether or not it was an average day, or a $@#%@#!@#-ing crazy day where management drooled on themselves, and you needed a shower beer to cope. :p

My lucky day. :) Mr. Oleg Holland just informed me "You are now a winner of a brand new 'Mercedes Benz c300 4matic 2018' and the grand prize of $4,500,000.00 USD".

That brings the total to $42.92M not counting the car and the contents of one message that didn't say how much money was involved.

Just got $4.2M from Dr anthony williams. Total now $47.12M

We are in the middle of an ice storm. We were supposed to have ice fog and maybe a little bit of freezing rain. Almost killed myself when I stepped out on the porch this AM. It iwas dark and I usually walk out, take a pic and come inside again. Turning around was an adventure. They didn't delay school. Postings all over FB about people falling on school grounds multiple times just trying to get into the school. Was supposed to warm up but so far we haven't hit above freezing. WOndering how they are going to transport home the kindergartners because even with all the salting and sanding the folks listening to the scanner say the schools keep calling to ask them to come back and do more because it isn't working. Oh oh. '
On the other hand it is beautiful out. Inch long icicles hanging off everything, the walk looks like cracked glass because it has glazed over the salt.
Three in one day, and it isn't noon yet. This one from Robert Bonner but just $650K. Total now $54.27M
I am doing something wrong. I have no one leaving me anything.

Good Morning Lodge!

Howdy Lodge. Working from home today. I have a dentist appointment in 45 minutes. Then working from home when I get back. Raining here. I’m not in the ice zone.

8.0 earthquake in the Gulf of Alaska that I mostly slept through, though the EAS alert on my cellphone for the Tsunami warning jolted me up (thanks North Korea, thanks Trump).

Alaska is all ok but if that quake was closer to land it would’ve been a different story.

Good Morning Lodge!

Maybe your spam filters just destroy the messages instead of putting them in a spam folder. I suspect that I am losing some messages that way.

It's in the upper 60s here in 202-land although we are being reminded of the 2+ feet of snow we received 2 years ago today.

0.38 inches of ice according to the local newscast. never
got above freezing. It is beautiful if you aren't worried about the wires coming down or needing to go out to do errands (which I didn't do). THe mt les summit lodge luge run was fully operational.

Saw a video of a school bus sliding down a street in MA. Nowhere near you, however. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...assachusetts/?utm_term=.e64aef8bf234#comments
