Good Morning, MEUSA! )

Good Morning to the rest of tLodge! :)

Good Morning Lodge!

The Great FLood is turning out to be a big PIA. We got the report for the mold inspection back. Positive. THink the things of BGTV. Everything needs to be wiped down, packed in plastic bins and bubble wrap- not newspaper. Anything porous needs to be chucked. Basement was finished, has furniture, rug, boxes full of things packed in newspaper, wood shelves. We need to wear respirators and sort thru what to keep and throw. Have to leave the clothing we wear down there at the door. At least it isn't the black mold stuff.

Well, today is my second full day post-op on my shoulder - second shoulder operation. This time the doctor had to repair my labrum, again, clean out some junk that accumulated since my first surgery, and grind down the underside of my collar bone. Four weeks in a sling, and two days has already felt like two weeks. Ugh.

Good morning Lodge. It’s still morning here in AZ. Beautiful day but a bit too cool for my liking today. Long flight last night, delayed take off almost two hours. Then by the time you land, naturally we’re at the furthest gate away, there was a line for the shuttle to the rental car center, which was about a 15 minute drive. Then a line to pick up my rental car. I’m Avis Preferred but my name wasn’t on the board. We didn’t get to the hotel till close to 1am local time.

Going to lunch soon. There’s an alumni reception at 5:30 so we’ll probably just relax here at the hotel afterwards. Maybe we’ll leave early as there is an outlet mall by the restaurant and arena.

Will it help you to know it is 30 here after starting out at 14F?

I went out for lunch and it was 45 and sunny. Made it difficult to walk back inside.
I just want to go home and take my dog to the park.

Not five seconds after I sit in my seat here at Gila River, guy next to me says “Are you Scarlet?” Ha! Not sure if I should be horrified or flattered.
