les, I talked to mom last night. My dad had a doctor's appointment yesterday and they had to drive to Chelmsford. All I had seen were your posts about the ice - I meant to call them earlier in the day but I was, like "WHAT? YOU DROVE???" They left around 10:30am, it wasn't too bad for them.

Turns out some of the main roads were OK. It was the side roads that were not.

Afternoon.

My house is now fully wired for internet. Added 9 new data lines to the 1 existing.

Whoever originally wanted to buy this house, chose 4 camera wires, but zero internet. Obviously worried about the wrong things.

Fantastic! Singapore is amazing. Mrs. GE and I are taking a day trip to Batam, Indonesia today. Waiting to board our ferry.

Evening, Lodge.

Work was almost normal today. There are 2-3 customers that are KNOWN for putting in large orders very late in the day, every Wed, screwing our day up, and today? Nope. I think they are still digging out from the snowstorm, given their locations in the state. I expect them to file those orders early tomorrow, and for us it's easier to recover that early hit than later in the day.

Found out my Houghton trip in summer is good, now I have to worry about getting the F4 days off. Just submitted today, shouldn't be a problem, but never know....

Sunny and COLD!!! but not as cold as a few wks ago. after walking outside barefoot when it is 3F everything else feels warm on my feet.

I'm flying to PHX tonight and leaving for the airport from work so I was trying not to wear too heavy of a jacket as I don't want to lug it all the way to Arizona. I wore these thin gloves and my fingers are still numb! Hope it's a little warmer this afternoon on the way to Logan.

Yay, found out we got "silver" on our metrics last quarter, so get a bonus. It's a new thing they started last year, and so far we have been in the money 2 of the last 3 quarters. Our biggest knock is "first-year turnover" and I can tell ya exactly why, and it's a catch-22: long hours b/c not fully staffed because we can't keep people, and people quit because of the long hours. ;)
