Yup -- some good features:
What have we learned from the recent bombings as far as trauma management/triage, palliative care in geriatric trauma, 2 lectures related to increases in gun violence, speakers from the NEOB and our transplant team on the rise in transplantable organs due to the rise in opioid overdose deaths, and managing TBI and spinal cord trauma with the new TBI guidelines.

I'm with you.
Sounds interesting. NPR had a thing on the increase of organ tx d/t opiod deaths

Huh, interesting. Would really be curious about what the causes would be for pockets of increases, that don't follow the overall trend. Of course, if your place specifically has just taken on hospitals in areas that are routinely more violent, then that would pretty much explain it.

I may be speaking out of turn here, but I think the more violent places are getting more violent, where as the marginal places are cooling down, and there are more marginal places than violent places, therefore lowering the overall violent trend.....
Listening to something the other day which said the same thing. If you were to take out certain hot spots the numbers are down. Maybe they did that when they looked at stats.

Good Morning Lodge!!

It's supposed to be in the low 80s here today. I woke up to gray skies and showers. Drove in because I have a 6:15 dentist appointment, walked to my car with no jacket and was really cold. Yesterday I was sweating. Figured I would wear something light and summery today because it's supposed to be hotter. Hope it warms up.

When did Robitussin go to 20 mL doses? Talk about farking the consumer by doubling the dose and keeping the bottle sizes and actual dosing the same.

Mine says 10 mL but I don't recall when I bought it. However it doesn't expire until 5/18 which is better than most OTC medicine which I have. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

So just got back from the dentist. Dr. wants to see my night guard. The front tooth that hurts is a shade longer than the other and he thinks I may have done something to the tooth while wearing it. That tooth hits the night guard before the other tooth. I may have hurt the nerve or something. I have to go back Saturday morning with the night guard since I spaced and didn't bring it with me tonight. He wants to see if he can adjust it. I would love it if it's something like that. God knows I don't want to have a root canal on a front tooth.

Thankful that Brenthoven was not mentioned in this sentence. ;)

And Scarlet: trust me: take care of everything now. Don't wait.

Yeah, it's the ***NEW!!!!!***** flavor and dosing.

If you followed dosing instructions and took it every four hours, you would not make it a day before you ran out in the bottles available at the local grocery store. I'm going to have to figure out where I can get the 10 mL.
