Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

I'm sick. This needs to go away before I have to go to Austin.

Good Morning Lodge!

I know we have been good for awhile but it still is a little weird to be considered a 'bigger test'

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

Good church outing today, GB game was the 3:30 game, so AGAIN no Packers fans in the house. :) MNS even stopped by for a pint or two. Lazy Sunday after the last couple days' events.

mr les is traveling home today so lazy afternoon watching what ever I want and fighting the after effects of the flu shot. :( Reacting to this one more than usual but it is done. I hate shots. I hate feeling blech.

and in happy news- beef stew is burbling in the crockpot

Good Evening, Lodge!

Survived the weekend in Milwaukee. Somewhat closure in the family. My second cousin and I had a great time. My other cousin...3 words total exchanged. On the plus side, great wedding.

I can't begin to tell you how much I don't want to go to work tomorrow.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

All I have to do this week is make it to Wednesday. Working Sun-Tuesday nights. Beer dinner Wednesday, staying at a fancy hotel on Wednesday night (B&B where the beer dinner is hosted). Thursday is an all-day trauma conference (Which I am getting 4hours OT to attend). Then off Friday through Tuesday night.

Have Tue/Fri off. Finally finish some dental stuff on Tue (random day off; part of burning off my extra PTO). Fri, may hit up a local taproom I haven't been to before. Ran into someone that is a higher up at the place while at church today, got a 2-for-1 coupon. Also get to see my son this Saturday. Cannot wait.

Gonna be in the Twin Towns for a lax tourney this weekend.

Going to Smalley's on Brent and BB's rec.

Better be good. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

It's pretty decent. I'd prefer a few other places before it depending on what you're in the mood for. Don't let them overhype it ;)

IIRC, go level 7-8 or so on the heat, per the staff's recommendation. I love my heat, and I was sweating and tearing up a little on that level. IIRC, Ghostbuster is the hottest I've had. The Triple 6 is NOT recommended. I've been told that when cleaning the dishes, the staff's eyes water due to the heat.

You'll LOVE the rum menu, btw.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

Yeah... going for the rum and Caribbean food... not a wings guy.

Dillo had the pulled pork as part of some trio/combo meal. Said it was delicious. They do it right, as far as the style of food.

Getting a late start today.

Happy Birthday Greyeagle!! Happy Birthday bigmrg74!!

Good Morning Lodge!

thanks!!

Grrrrr..... Got into some poison ivy or poison oak and I got it all over my forearms and elbows. Sucks a big one. gotta keep my hands busy to keep from scratching. And currently sitting up waiting on a horse transport to show up to drop off a horse. It was supposed to be here earlier this week, but its from somewhere down in the Carolina's and with Matthew down there messing things up it was better for them to do that pick up later. Just wish they would show up soon.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Took the day off of work so I can get groceries and laundry done from the past weekend.
