Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #186: Summer Heat

Hello, extras!
Not much to report. Looking forward to fall as it's my favorite time of year. :) Cooler weather, slower schedules (though the start of hockey does occupy most weekends).

I certainly know Reno and Name, but not TJ. I guess he did no attend EHS.

Samec was a St Paul kid who played at STA. Wonder if his parents moved? Or, maybe he was born In Edina? Either way he's a kid who overcame youth coaching. ;). Great kid and nice family.

Good Thunderstorming Morning Lodge.

It's been so long since I've had to live without central air that I've forgotten what all that humidity does. The carpets upstairs are bubbling up, the basement floors are developing wet spots and lots of creaking and groaning from the house. Sure hope the AC tech shows up this AM as scheduled.

I slept horribly last night. With all the storms that missed my area Sunday night, they found me Monday night. I slept like I had a newborn baby in the house, perhaps even worse.

Add the dewpoint we had last night to it, that was my night. Already a couple mugs of tea into the day, thinking if getting a coke soon, need caffeine.

Greetings from cityslickerville.

Little g has been dealing with an increased frequency in seizures the last couple weeks so his neurologist wanted to see him ASAP. We checked into Gillette Childrens Hospital and we were immediately informed that appointments are running between 60 and 90 minutes behind schedule.

Little g is in my thoughts. How old is he now? Seems like yesterday he was born, and the "experts" were saying he wouldn't make it. Guess he showed 'em. :)

He's a stubborn little bastige, just like his old man. ;)

He'll get through this, too. When he sees a wall, he goes Kool-Aid Man on the bit. :)
