Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #185: Summer Activities

Good morning! Second full day of summer vacation and boy is it nice. It's odd having all this free time...plenty to do around the house or other odds and ends stuff. A well earned break after what will probably turn out to the be the toughest teaching year of my career

Mornin'.

Had a great time at Volks Fest yesterday with bbdl/wife, despite mis-interpreting one clue* on the road rally/scavenger hunt, resulting in an extra 2 hours driving around every back road within a 5 mile radius, and not finishing the rally at all (we just gave up).

Total couch day today, after all the fun yesterday.

The clue was "8 to 9." bbdl thought it meant take Cty Rd 8 to Cty Rd 9. Nope. There was a 9 on a mailbox, so we were supposed to go that way. We went the opposite way.

What Brent said plus our school added 9th grade and our Principal was basically fired (put on leave and then he resigned later). So many new staff and students and me with my first full time job, plus the 10th graders that I had were among the toughest kids in the school. So much change plus bad leadership made for a very frustrating year at times but feels like a major accomplishment to be done. Worked super hard (was frequently the first person in our department there and last to go.

Morning, Lodge. There is entirely too much callbell ringing by my patients.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Boss is out of the office today and tomorrow which means we are going to get more work done.

Good rainy Morning Lodge.

ETA: Anyone else think we need to find Ralph another hobby beyond biking and looking up dead people? He is now counting up the days he's been alive... Maybe we need to help him find a woman, that will keep him busy....mookie could help. ;)

Would probably have to wait as mookie is probably still celebrating the Penguins win.

Happy Monday Lodge peeps. Bunch of nitpicky stuff to deal with today. Blergh.

I don't have time for more hobbies. Maybe I should get a job. :p

My wife plans to force me to do that when I retire. Even if it is volunteer and/or part time. She fears I will turn quickly into a vegetable if I don't get one.
