S'upp y'all

Speaking of cake eaters, will Edina make it to state? I see they're a 3 seed in the section, kind of an unusual spot for them.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

Heading to the airport to pick up my parents and aunt and uncle after two weeks in Florida. Flight was due to land about 6:45. Checked when I got home, delayed 10 minutes to 6:54. Decided to grab a bite to eat on the way. Checked again, now landing at 7:12. By the time the plane lands, they get off the plane, wander down to baggage claim and get their luggage it could be close to 8. I live, like, 12 minutes from the airport. Maybe I'll go home to wait.

Whenever I, or anyone in my family, pick somebody up from the airport I have them call when they get off the plane. By the time you get there, they'll be ready.

If I didn't live 40 minutes from the airport, I'd do the same thing. Usually, my pick up cheats and turns on their phone as they are descending. Works out most of the time.

Good Morning Lodge.

If they have checked a bag, call when they land and I'll be there when they exit baggage claim, sometimes I'll have to circle the terminal twice. If no checked luggage I get to the cell phone lot and I'll be to the terminal when they walk out. Unless it's rush hour then all bets are off.

I'm about 25 minutes from DTW, I tell people to call when they land, it usually works well. How did we ever coordinate picking people up before cell phones? Waiting around at the airport and paying to park sucked.

It did, but that's what we did. When my in-laws came to visit, we would park in short term parking and meet them at the gate. After 9/11 we would meet them as they entered baggage claim. When I would return from business trips and I did not park at the airport, I'd go to the first pay phone after the gate and call my wife who would be waiting for the call and she'd meet me near baggage claim (although I rarely checked baggage for business trips). It was just easier to pick up there than up at ticketing at MSP.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

I usually go to the cell phone lot to wait but I figured I would get food and time my pick up that way. As it turns out, the plane landed 15 minutes earlier than indicated resulting in texts from my aunt an calls from my mom and neither one answered when I responded because, old people.

So today was interesting. Our team has yet again been moved to a new group. Well, same department, just new sub-department. This is the third time in 15 months. I hope this is it for a while. My boss got a promotion and now has two additional people reporting directly to her.

Smart. It makes it tougher for the prosecution to use us during the trial.
Exactly!!!
facebook stalk them yourself!!! ;):p Just don't bother with Maryland. That's a sad tale of woe there.

Yeah, they have plenty of signs up reminding you to wash your hands and use hand sanitiser here. Don't wanna end up in a position where I gotta pick an end to point towards the toilet.

Also, who in the blue blazes thought it would be a good idea to set up massage tables on an incline? The school in question here's swim coach must have done something to tick off Michigan's or something. got us parked on the incline right in behind the stands by the diving platforms.
